"You guys" ... are you refering to ME or others too?
I have an opinion ... and it's OK to hear it and consider my opinion or the opinions of others ... but your ACTUAL DECISIONS are made within the confines of your marriage.

Pep, You are cracking me up with all this cross-posting. But seriously... Froz ... make sure your husband feels loved ...
MAKE SURE HE FEELS LOVED BY YOUR DECISIONS What seems to make him feel loved is for me to feel like he loves me. I'm like a sieve...no matter how many times or ways he says it, it just doesn't seem to reach me. I don't feel it at all.

That's why I was asking if you thought, despite the circumstances, it was still necessary. I was considering your opinion. Then you told me your opinion meant squat. That is why I was confused. I really do like you, Pep. I wonder sometimes if you and I have some sort of "issue". We seem to have a hard time communicating with each other sometimes. I wonder what the deal is with that. Regardless, I accept you just as you are.

Do you promise to change that sieve to a fountain? I don't recall promising that, but believe me...if I knew how, I would. I used to be a geyser.

Pep. I wonder sometimes if you and I have some sort of "issue". We seem to have a hard time communicating with each other sometimes. I wonder what the deal is with that. Ok ... I am going to ask a favor of you. I am asking you to stop saying this. I hear you. You have already said this. Can you grant me that favor? Please.

You just start by accepting his love without question. One drop at a time. Unquestioning. If you allow him ... Patriot would bathe you in his love ... prime your pump. You begin by deciding to be the willing vessel.

If you quiet yourself
and imagine yourself
as a vessel
and visualize a warm soft clear liquid being poured into you
Let that be patriot's love.
You need it.
Don't reject the nourishment he offers with his open heart.

Can you grant me that favor? Please. As you wish. Edited to add: Been thinking about this one...I guess the issue is really mine. I'm sorry I projected that onto you. I think it may have something to do with my feelings about my mother and rejection. Again, I'm sorry.

Yes, I know. Don't reject the nourishment he offers with his open heart. I'm not openly rejecting it. It never reaches me. I don't know how to be a vessel. I don't know how to do that.

Visualize in your mind's eye
a beautiful delicate vessel
made by God's very own hands
... why did God create us women as a vessel?
We allow love to enter us ... literally ... we are vessels.
You know how to be a vessel because you were made as one.

a beautiful delicate vessel Hmmmm...tried it, it didn't work. Didn't feel beautiful or delicate. You know how I like honesty and to be "real". The truth is, I don't believe that he loves me.

Why don't you just slap him ... it would probably hurt less than this comment. Why torture Patriot any further in that case? Did you marry him to drive him out?

I know you may think me stubborn and hard-headed, but it feels like trying to make a lie the truth. It feels like I'm trying to convince myself of something that isn't real. I hate fakeness. And now I am very, very sad... ...because I really do miss feeling that way. I miss feeling loved. Patriot was the first time in my entire life I ever felt that way. I feel unlovable, unattractive, and worthless. I feel like second-rate. I feel like damaged goods. I feel like a consolation prize. Great, now I'm getting all emotional.

Why torture Patriot any further in that case? Did you marry him to drive him out? Well, Pep...forgive me for finding his words hard to believe. It's a little hard to grasp the concept that he loved me more than anything else in the world while he was screwing someone else for a year and a half. Am I trying to drive him out? NO! I never was! I'm not trying to torture him, but if that is genuinely how I feel...at least he knows what he is up against. It sure is better than me LYING about how I feel and misleading him. I know why I married him. A better question is why did he marry ME? None of this makes any sense in my mind.
