Since I know where HCII hangs out, I am guessin that I know where Committed hangs as well. And as for being 45 year young or even the 50 as SUSAN IS. , you are just children.

HCII, haven't heard from you in a long time. How is life treating you? Are you behaving yourself and getting on with life? I hope so. I figured I could threadjack, since Mel and Susan are going to be arguing about BBQ here pretty soon.

Committed, I am sorry to hear your story and the loses you have had. I sense that you have moved on pretty well, and that is a great thing.

Must go, but did want to check in with HCII now that I know Committed is his sister.

God Bless,

JL

PS: Before the BBQ discussion gets to far, do you know why breakfast explains the difference between chickens and pigs?

The chicken is involved, the pig is committed.

JL, no silly Mississapian can argue with a Texan about BBQ. WE knows our BBQ!

And committed, I too, am very sorry about your husband.

yep, it's all in who you know.

Committed, thanks for sharing your story. I'm sorry you have experienced so much pain in your young years.

Susan

Thank you...and yes, I have moved on pretty well. It helps to have a large family...and a good support system.

I will tell hcii that you were inquiring.

The chicken is involved, the pig is committed.

I am glad that I get the joke...otherwise that could be seen as something else!

Susan,

You behave yourself now, ya hear? Have you ever done a search on BBQ? It is interesting how it varies across the country, some favoring a Mustard sauce and others tomato, and then there are combinations.

Now tell me who knows more about catfish and hush puppies?

FOOD FIGHT!!!! I can see it coming.

Committed, in case you don't know it, Susan and I go a long way back. She is one "nosy" lady. I am glad you go the joke, as you could tell your logon name triggered it in my mind.

God Bless,

JL

Took Pep and her RNP friend from CA to eat CATFISH last March. Wish you could have seen that.

Get her to tell you about fried dill pickels!

I prefer "curious". He never has forgotten that I bugged him to death because he never had told his story. I still want to know if your wife knows you post on MB!

Ooops...I should have answered this...

Nope, not Alabama. I am from the heart of the Appalachian Mountains..the Blue Grass State. Kentucky.

Well...I guess ya gotta come out of hiding when they call ya!

JL,

Ever seen two cats with their tails tied together, thrown over a clothesline?

...That's about how busy I am.

I have recovered nicely. I started and completed my first home immediately after my DV which was in 10/02. That took a lot of my time, but was worth it for nothing else as a learning experience....

...But...the good side....I didn't hafta argue with anyone about the design or decorating! Sis seems to think I did pretty well for a man! (Unless she just doesn't want to hurt my feelings )

I took about a year break, did some casual socializing, and got a little taste of diversity. I am currently seeing a very nice young woman, and I can say that I learned a lot here to apply in this relationship.

So...Things have returned to normal. I am back to my old mischief, oneryness, terrorizing people and things, and just about everything that us people in the hills do!

Glad y'all asked about me...

BTW...Sis? A man? Ain't no way! But....she DOES have a real mean right cross....
