OK....here goes, we had supper here at home together and she is napping right now. I hate to tell this ...but I'm having trouble thinking what way to go? This morning I was told she has a deep love for me, that she really feels safe and secure, but now after everything...including the moving away of her parents that when I start to touch her...getting intimate, she weirds out and things feel like I'm wrong...as if I'm her Father. Only once in this recovery time has she ever felt 'passion" for me. She has done a few little things "just for me" in hte bedroom...but everything feels weird and wrong. She even said she "does things against me out of "resentmet of her Dad". Where do we go from here? After supper...she asked me if I enjoyed the evening spent with her? I of course said "yes" and she said she did also. Also...anyone have or know of bad times using "pot" while taking Prozac? The counselor told her to stop...and she has! Monday will be 7 days. It was her crutch on bad days.Later.

IMHO, u r still on that rollercoaster and it is going up and down. R U dizzy yet?

Notice how you wrote that she asked you if you enjoyed the evening spent w/her? In recovery it s/b phrased more like:

Xws: Welder, I enjoyed the our evening together. I would like t/d it again. Thanks for letting me come over. I truly appreciate it.

Now did you get anywheres near a reception like that?

I'm home from work now...W phoned me at work after her meeting with counselor...she sounds tired. I'm just scared of what feeling she went through today. At least my day at work was OK. I've prayed alot.

Orchid: Welder, I was just trying to show the difference between a real recovery convo vs babble. Do you know the difference?

Orchid: I understand the anxiety. Can't tell you not t/b anxious but being too anxious isn't going to help the sitch much. Take a few deep breathes..... don't hyperventilate, just breathe to relax. Go find something fun t/d.

The WS will worry. She needs to worry. She needs to wonder whether you will take her back not if she wants to come back. ok?

Go read Love must be Tough by Dr. James Dobson and the book called "Boundaries".

I've read the book..."tough love", and used that reasoning about a year ago...1 of the reason she made the 1st comeback. We are both on vacation next week and I think she is wanting to go visit her parents alone...I kind of thought so and she mentioned it to her counselor yesterday and she thinks that may be best. I guess that maybe backing off...by me could be best. Later. Hey is who's the author of Boundaries?

Can't remember. Check out Borders or Barnes/Noble.

It's light blue and black. It's a paperback. That's all I remember.
