Maybe a flashlight and some batteries, just in case. LOL

Nah, I don't know really, but L. said when he got there he didn't have time to pack and prepare so he went off without a flashlight or some shorts to sleep in.

Pep,

Tell him how worried you are,
and then tell him he's doing a great thing,
and then tell him how proud he makes you feel!

He'll be back...
and repay you with a lifetime of friendship

Pep, if you really think about it, same stuff could happen to him even at home. Tragedy can befalls us in many places.
I learned this from personal experience. It also allowed me to let go of my kids more than I had before my youngest became disabled. What a powerful gift God is giving you...a chance to see first hand your son leave home a boy and come home a MAN. {{pep}} Louie will be in my prayers and his mama too.

Go to Orvis and get those quick dry underwear. All that survival type of clothing. They even have mosquito type long sleeve shirts. H has 2 of them. They wrinkle easily but supposedly do the job. As for the socks, they have something that quick dry also.... I think. Expensive as anything but nothing is too good for your boy, right?!??!

BTW Pep,
He has been home for awhile?
Last I heard he was living away.

Hey Pep,

I don't come 'round here much anymore, but did today and happened on your news.

First let me say I am delighted that L is doing so well. This is great news for you and Mr. Pep.

Let me leave you with this thought:

The piece of coal becomes a brilliant diamond.
Diamonds are tough and never lose their brilliance.

L has truly been mined into a diamond.
He will continue to shine.
