I'm a firm believer in doing what is best for the Marriage. If C is better, than so be it, if NC is better, then go for it. My husband and I plan to have no contact with the OC. The OC is due to be born in January of 2006. I don't owe the OC anything. As I told the OW and her H, as far as I am concerned she and the OC are figments of my imagination.
What type of attorney should I get? Would this be under family law? I am in the D.C./Maryland area. The OW lives in Maryland. Any attorney referrels?
I want to make sure that I'm clear before ending this. I wish no ill-will to the OC, or the OW (well, sometimes), but I truly could care less what happens to them.
April - Affair May - OW tells H that she's pregnant June - OW's H calls to inform me of affair and pregnancy August - Present - Working diligently on marriage. In counseling at church. December - OC Born - NO CONTACT! May - DNA TEST NEGATIVE - MY H IS NOT THE FATHER. THANK GOD.
My new Title - BS w/ OCS (Betrayed Wife with Other Child Scare)

Your right you DON'T owe this ow or even the oc anything. Not a thought or anything. But if proven to be your husbnad's he does. There are other ways to skin a cat though. As well I still kindof skeptical of the hsuband of ow in your case. He just seems to happy about all this with waht you've said. Defintly don't do a thing without a DNA test and with his reaction (which is very abnomal) just be careful.
