i feel like there are not very many good odds that this will ever end its been almost 3 yeasr. even though they are not saying i love yous etc. they are still in contact I can not continue with that. should i write him a letter or save that for plan b?

i basically feellike saying look this has gone on so long. i can not continue living like this. etc. but i guess it wouldnt help. maybe i'll save it for plan B and attempt a plan a

mylife, it is ok to tell him he is hurting you with his actions. Not too many words, WS's don't hear us anyway. Save most of it for the plan b letter. Get YOURSELF a plan first. Plan A while you are making that plan.
