Susan, I was just thinking the same thing. I have more "stuff" than I'll ever need. I don't have to worry where the food will come from on Christmas day.
My kids are so happy and living their own lives but are still as close to me as they ever were.
My H and I will have time on our summer holidays to do all the things we want to do, or do nothing if that's what we want.
You're right - peace and goodwill are what I really want.

AW, I wish the same for you. {{AW}}
I have all the "stuff" I need. Nice home, great kids (though I do wish for my DS seizures to end), a good job, great friends...all I really *want* for Christmas is a faithful, honest and loyal H and father to my kids which they deserve. I also want for all of our troops overseas to be safe and have a decent meal for Christmas.

I "ditto" all the responses here!!!!!
I would love if my H would propose to me again and renew our vows.
And the best gift of all would be for peace, LOVE and security for my marriage and family all the rest of our days.
Be Well,
Harmonie

All I want for Christmas is a healthy, loving marriage with my only true love.
What I have is a husband who loves me, and is trying to please me but doesn't want to open up, and would rather pretend all of this never happened.
I'm sure what he is wishing for, is a magic wand to make all the past year disappear.
In the end, I have nothing to lose but everything to gain, by trying to save my marriage.

For Christmas, I have a horrible wish: I wish my WH would either poop or get off the pot. It's a year ago this weekend, that he moved into an apartment. I've Plan A-ed. I've Plan B-ed. I'd like to move out of limbo-land.
I wish that WH would keep his appointments with Steve Harley. I wish that he would use the tools (MB and SH) that are available to him. I wish he would either decide to work upon our marriage or go upon his "merry" way.
I'm feeling like one of those heart-tugging Country-Western songs: Please release me, let me go....

Mediation set for November Final dissolution in January 2007. 2008 and beyond: Life goes on...
