Thanks, Kim. Today has been a little brighter. Just had my counseling appointment. I probably won't be seeing her much longer, which is good.

Now that the big things are agreed on, I'm worried about dealing with the reality of it, that H is really and truly gone. That I'm going to have to deal with him and OW being together openly and be reminded constantly that he chose her over the life he had with DD and me.

Of course, now that they won't have me as an enemy to unite against, maybe it will be over quickly. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for DD's sake.

SadMommy -

I always find it hard that a WH chooses the OW over flesh and blood - for me I keep looking at it like WH would rather have someone who is deceitful and trash than his OWN son. He is choosing her over his son.

Our WH's will never experience the closeness and life-changes that we will with our children. It's quite sad to me.

Sorry, not much encouragement from me today....just some thoughts.

I hope this progresses quickly for you and you can soon start a brand new chapter in your life. You deserve the best!!

Kim

{{hugz}}}. The WS is a dimwit. Can't see the light but acts like he is walking down the runway...... can you imagine how that stride looks when a person is walking around doing normal things (working, etc.). LOL!! That's what the WS looks like..... Hm..... After a while, they (all Ws') look funny.

Thanks, you guys. What's funny, Orchid, is that STBX really does strut. He has what was dubbed at his office as, "the cop walk." He once was a university police officer, and he's the kind of guy who REALLY enjoys having that kind of power, what little power a university cop has. He'd point at people running red lights as we would be driving around town and scrutinize everyone's license plates looking for expired tags.

But I loved him anyway.

Well, it happened. I am officially divorced. It happened earlier this week while I was in PA with Mom at the hospital. I am sorta freaked out right now. I knew it was going to happen, but I didn't know when. I had no idea it would be so darn fast... not that I wanted to drag things out any longer than necessary, but I am really surprised. A little stunned. And very, very sad... WH, well, I guess XH, didn't even say anything about it this week. I'm sure he can't wait to celebrate this weekend with OW, since I asked him if I could have DD all weekend since I haven't seen her all week...

Good thing I took DD to the babysitter's today so I could get some stuff done.

Thank you, all you wonderful MBers, for being here for me though these awful months. This has been the worst time of my life, but knowing that I have friends who support me and DD has helped.

SO NOW WHAT?????

Continue focusing on yourself....and now....when you are ready....from out of the blue....someone new will enter your heart....down the road. With the dedication you had fighting for your marriage, you can stand tall!! Go buy yourself something, maybe go out to a club with some girlfriends, get "dittied" up...and let some men look you up and down...feel good about yourself!!! A chapter in your life has had the final words written. What will be the first and last words written in your next chapter????

God Bless you!

The words "sorry" just doesn't seem enough.
I will be praying for your heart to be healed and for your new life ahead.

I know you will find relief in closure of your marriage, and this should help bring a sense of peace to your life.

Take care,
