steelers did not play their best...

but on one hand that's what I adore about them....

while fun when teams are dead on game...and control the whole thing...but make the superbowl boring and predictable..

this game was anything but that....

I thought the commercials were pretty lame..but then I realized that when "my" team isn't playing you want to see some witty entertaining commercials ...and when "your" team is playing you think oh shut up and get back to heinz wards smiley little face....

I am a big Steeler fan, and was so glad to see them win the Super Bowl. Steelers are #1
I have to agree that the commercials were pretty lame. I wish that they would go back to the funny commercials; like the budweiser, bud-wei-ser frog or come up with a funny one like the one with the horses, throwing snowballs.

I am tired of all the sex and shock value half-time entertainment.

Rather than have the Rolling Stones, I would have rather seen Big & Rich.

In the end, I have nothing to lose but everything to gain, by trying to save my marriage.

Y'all are too funny !! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

I like the commercials with the monkeys in it. Do not remember what it was for though.

I think it just took too long for Big Ben to calm down. Not the best played SB but I am glad that Pitt did win. Which I thought they would and am not happy with the fact that I did not get to place the bet I wanted to..... oh well...

Texas won the championship and Steelers won the Super Bowl... been an alright year... darn Cowboys !!!

WAT - Maybe he thinks that Ben R. did not score the touchdown, that the ball did not break the plane, or something like that.

An officiating call......

That Superbowl was an utter disgrace. Sloppily played on both sides with the officiating ultimately deciding the outcome.

There is a reason why the NFL officiating has come under such scrutiny. There was NO WAY the Seahawks were going to win that game last night. NO WAY, NO HOW.

There were 6 crucial and very questionable calls last night.......100% of those went against the Seahawks. Every "call" came at a crucial time when momentum could have been gained by the Seahawks. I wonder what the fine is going to be levied by Paul Tagliabue to those who question this officiating. This game might as well been hosted by the WWE. AT least then, we'd know what we were paying for.

I don't begrudge the Steelers for taking advantage of the calls and breaks and doing something with them, but the real losers last night were the fans. Look at all of the major web sites around the internet.....ALL THAT is being discussed is the horrible officiating and the impact they had on the game. If I was a Steeler fan I would be pissed. At a time when the league should be bestowing praise on the team and the organization all everyone is doing is talking about those horrible refs. This superbowl has NO LEGITIMACY in the publics eyes.

Sure if I was a Steeler fan I'd be rejoicing nonetheless, but as a hard core football fan (for the record I did not care who won the game, and if I had to pick a side would be pulling for the Steelers) I am sorely dissapointed by this disgrace lastr night. YOu cannot have officials at this level play that large of a role. You cannot make the mistakes they made which ultimately decided the game and essentially erased 11 (or 14) points from the Seahawks. You just can't. Ofcourse, we will all hear the old song and dance given by Paul Tagliabue about how good the officials calls were and how the calls were indeed correct....after further review...LMAO...gimme a break. Yeah, whatever.....Vinny in Vegas was happy...he gave the 3 and half points and covered...the men in pinstripes saw to that.
