SC,

You cannot block someone from YOUR postings. You can only block theirs from YOU.

Example: B2kind (hopefully no one is using this name as it is fictional!) is being a jerk. I do not want to see anymore comments from B2kind. So, I can go to "My Home" and "addresses/Ignore" and enter this screen name. As long as I am logging in each time I visit MB, I will not see any posts from this person.

If Dummy is your spouse, then Dummy needs to block you. You can then block Dummy. Now this only works on the honor system still as have all you have to do is not login in and you can see all the posts.

Hey, SC...

Sorry for seeing your post late...I used to be night owl and sometimes I pretend I am again. Today, I'm paying a bit for it.

Don't doubt you will get the hang of this posting to bulletin boards thing. Very strange at first. You show a whole lot of drive, woman.

After seeing D move his post this morning, I was rethinking my advice. In your case, special (because you are, you know)...uhm, don't block.

Begin your own thread in the same forum (this forum) and title it something that will catch your eye when you look at recent posts or Active Topics. That way, you can track...bookmark it and it will be easier to see it each day (er, night).

Posting is a patience-teaching tool. I did exactly what you did...after you hit "submit", wait a full minute. If you don't see your post come up, scroll down and see what message you got. Most of the time, it is working on getting your post into the slot. To post, I usually just scroll down to the bottom of the page, the end of the thread and start typing in quick reply. Once you finish and hit continue, you'll get a chance to add bells and whistles, or in my case, missing letters or words I've run together.

I'm really glad you're here and I agree that having two threads that aren't blocked by either of you would be terrific. With access to both.

LovingAnyway,

Thanks for getting back to me. God knows, I need to learn to have patience!

Ok, then. I'll do a posting in a day or two. Right now Dummy needs the computer. (work related) Or maybe MB!

Thanks for your help and suggestions!
