I would be remiss in my duty to my fellow avid readers if I did not point them toward some of my favorite books of this genre. I have read every book on this page (except I'm not quite done with Man of Galilee yet), and many more than once. Joseph is my very favorite, and I've read it 3 or 4 times. Ruth and Boaz, by the same author, is also very good. I liked Esther, but it was a little sad because the book ended shortly after she died as an old lady. They tried to have it still have a happy ending, but as far as I'm concerned, once the hero dies it's over, lol. The Prodigal was very good, too. Each one is well-researched, and you come away knowing a great deal more about the history and customs of that time, and can understand the story so much better. More Bible Stories And for anyone, like me, who loves angel stories, here is Prayer Warriors, Guardians, and somwhere there's the last in the series, but I'll have to look for it. All of these should be available on Amazon.com and Walmart.com for cheaper than the cover price.

My most favorite book of all time is called "Tell No Man", by Adela Rogers St. John. It came out in the 60's when I was a "Jesus freak" - way before your time. Your mom may have heard about it.
It is a novel about a man who decides to actually follow Jesus. It is wonderful and inspiring.

B, the 60s was before me time (I know, I am a snerp), but Mom probably did hear of it. It sounds very good.
Mr. Computer, aka Nerdboy, got in trouble from his auntie this morning. He tried a creative approach. "Auntie, I can see why the Dervish calls you a [censored]. Noooo! Stop!!!!!! I didn't call you a [censored].........." He was so surprised when he still got in trouble.

lol you just gotta love kids lol Of course its VERY obvious why Aussie gets along Soooo well with them ...except its very hard to give him a clip over the ear .. you might loose a finger or two <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> mum has the exact tone of voice to rip him a new one ..lol mums seem to have that knack and that LOOK!!! You can use the look on your kids & husband and they KNOW you mean business. However experience also shows that its not transferrable BACK UP to mum . I mean when I try all I get is ' have you got wind dear?' <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
