Thanks for prayers. I know that God alone can get me,and the rest of us, through the ordeals that face us.

The Lord has brought me through so much in my life. I can look back at the stones of remembrance and know that He brought me through. No one else could ever love me like He does. Even though I may have lost my second marriage too I know that God loves me with a love that is matchless and priceless. I need to remember that.

I pray that God will give all of us the strength, peace, wisdom and courage to go through what we must go through.

There's a beautiful song that says "Sometimes God calms the storm and sometimes He calms His child." I pray today for the peace for of all the hurting husbands, wives, girl and boyfriends, children and extended families that are represented by the posters here. I pray also for the "other" men and women who are also hurting. What must their lives have been like to make some of the poor choices they've made that have also brought them to this place.

God help us through today and give us rest tonight. Give us the strength to face tomorrow and the days to come. Take the pain, emptiness and loneliness away and replace it with Your peace.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I'd like to pray for Eav. Lord, You know what her needs are. I pray that You give her the courage and strength to face her situation in the way You would want her to do so. Be with her every moment of the day. Comfort her and give her peace, Lord. So many here are having to face the very difficult circumstances in their lives, and we all need your guidance in our lives. So please watch over and touch Eav, and give her the hope, thru You and Your Grace, and walk her thru, step by step. Let her know that she is loved and not alone. Help us all to put these things in Your hands, Lord, and to take comfort in that You will take care of it. Thankyou, Jesus! In Your name I pray, Jesus, Amen.

Lord, hold my H close to you and let him see the way. Show him all the love and forgiveness you can so he can begin to love and forgive himself.

Lord, hold my DS close to you and give him all the fatherly love that he so desperately needs. Let him be safe from the turmoil of our M and H's addiction.

Lord, hold me close to you so I can feel your strength. Lend me the power to do right in our M, and to truly forgive so I can move past the pain. Let me walk in your glory and spread what happiness I can find to others.

Jesus, please hear JJ's prayer. She is reaching out to you, for you to comfort her and her family with the strength of your powerful arms. Please touch her H, and forgive him of his sins. Let him know, that it's not too late to turn to You, Lord, for guidance and direction. We thankyou for your forgiveness and love, as we know we do not deserve this, but by Your grace, it is all possible thru You.

Please be with JJ's DS, and protect and shield him from all of the things that go along with this kind of situation. Let him know, that know matter what, he is loved by all, especially by You.

Please give JJ the courage, wisdom and strength to follow Your will for her, whatever that may be. Let her know that You are there with her, the WHOLE way, and will not abandon her, now or ever! Thankyou, Jesus!

Dear Heavenly Father,

I ask that you hear the many prayers that are being said for WOL, RLD and the family. Lord, please give him the strength to heal. I pray for the blood of Jesus over this family, for Your protection, safety, peace and good health.

I also pray for the medical staff, that you guide them, and give them the wisdom to make the appropriate decisions concerning WOL's health.

Bring them all together, Lord, and let them come out of this stronger than ever, thru Your grace and love. Please give them the faith to trust in You, to feel your presense and to know it will be alright. Please ease their anxieties and let them feel Your comfort and peace, during this very difficult time Lord.

These things I ask in Your name, Jesus, Amen.

Lord, I'd like to pray for L2S. Please give her the strength and courage to face whatever it is that is coming her way. Please give her the wisdom to follow thru. Help her to stand on her own two feet, and follow Your path, Lord. Comfort her thru Your love and grace, Jesus, and let her know You are there with her, and that she is loved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I would like to lift this prayer up to You, and put this request in Your hands.

Lord, I'd like to pray for Sfjaj. She has received some shocking news, Jesus, and needs Your comfort. Please surround her with Your love, and touch her with Your healing hand. Lord, I also ask that You give her the strength she needs to face this, and the other trials in her life. She needs you NOW, Lord!

Give her the guidance and wisdom of Your Holy word. Please help to direct her to the path where You would have her go, Lord. Be with her and her family.

And Lord, please let this be the time to bring her and her husband closer together, and to recover during this very difficult time in their lives. Draw them near to You, Lord, thru Your precious grace and love.

Please protect them, and let them know You are with them, EVERY step of the way!

Congrats to your girls graduating! You must be so proud. I know as a single mom you must have faced many challenges (I'm just starting this journey myself), but you can hold your head up high, as you have done a great job.

Hey, Tex! Glad to see ya'! I've been doing well and adjusting to the change in my life. Watching my girls receive their diplomas was PROOF that I made the right decision! The result of a good choice made, for once! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Thankyou for the congrads on the twins. It was moment I will NEVER forget, just like the day they were born. And I get to do this again, next year, with my youngest. I look forward to that moment! I will then, have ALL of my girls graduated, and I will be 39 and free to pursue something for myself, which I intend to be healthy! PRAISE GOD!!

So I hope things are going well for you, Tex! I haven't posted here in a long time. I have found a board for codependents, and it has helped me SOOO much. I think God was trying to lead me to a place where there were others in my particular situation. And there were more people going thru this than I had thought. My X fiance and I have remained friends, and we still chat now and then, but that's about it.
