I don't mean this response to be critical, but I have been feeling like I lived on a deserted island for months with someone who loves me that I do not love. I definitely don't recommend it. For me personally, even being there alone wouldn't work, because I don't love myself either. As you can tell, I have a pretty crappy outlike today. As my spouse, WAITING ON LOVE, told me this week, I am a very "negative person." It is true, I have a negative outlook on life in general, so it's really hard to see much of anything that is positive in our relationship.

Back to the question about the island, I would just like to sit on the beach in peace without having to fake feelings, put on a false smile and try to live life in public as if everything is wonderful. I am SOOOOO sick of that I could scream. Wish I could locate a deserted island, but since I am not allowed to go anywhere alone, I have no clue how I would get there!!!!

Oh RLD, that was very honest in a terribly sad, poetic way. Also managed some humor in there as well.

Are you the artistic type?

That post made me sad, but I liked it. Hope you find some joy soon.

Weaver, Sorry to make you feel sad. Lord knows, anyone on this board does not need additional sadness! I do have an artistic side that is a wonderful outlet for stress and anxiety. I am often accused of using humor to deflect attention away from my anger or sadness. It makes for great entertainment with friends, but it is also a major coverup for sadness and loneliness. Hope you are having a great day. Again, sorry to be such a downer!
