Pepsi Member P Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 380 The Heart of America	Hey Jean, my attorney did not say but I know his motivation, he doesn't want to pay $400/week for child care. Well too bad this is what he wanted so now he has to suffer the consequences. According to the CS calculation, he has to pay me about $3000/month that is not including maintenance. If we did not include child care he would still have to pay about $1800/month CS. I also think he realizes that at tax time he is going to be totally screwed since CS is not tax deductible and he won’t have the mortgage interest to deduct and only 2 kids as dependents. That is way he wants to allocate $1200 for maintenance which is tax deductible. I think he is starting to realize how much this is going to cost him (I hope MOW was worth it). Since I am in Plan B, what do I do if/when STBXWH tries to talk to me? Do I look his way, what do I say or totally ignore him? I was just wondering b/c I know when we were in mediation, he was trying to talk to me like we were all buddy-buddy but I totally ignored him then also. I dare he try to talk to me like we were such good friends, I am NOT his friend and when this D is final, I still won't be. Yeah, I decided that I cannot fully depend on STBXWH, as he has already proven that he is undependable. I need to establish my own credit to refi the house in my name only and also get a new vechicle. Also, that I like & really want to continue working, it is a break from the kids and also I really feel good taking care of my family. So he is just going to have to pay the child care. I also decided to ask for the $1200 maintenance that he already so kindly offered on top of the $3000/child support. I believe he is starting to realize how much this is going to cost him.
