The marriage can not survive if the affair does. The very best way to stop the affair is exposure. I was counseled to go for "scorched earth". But as long as your ww has contact with OP, the affair can continue. And it will get harder to detect.

See if you can talk her into sitting in on the session with Steve Harley. Tell her he will not crucify her. He has been doing this a while, and understands how to encourage the WS to get involved with his counseling.

Good job for coming around about exposure. Do not sit on it. Strap on a pair, and get with it. The light of day has a wonderfully chilling effect on an A.

We expect a full report.

sorry found - this is an old thread. i resurrected it to bury it again if that makes sense.

the A is over. NC letter was sent. WW quit the job.

i was re-reading tonight and saw how much exposure would have helped me respect myself AND illustrate to WW the consequences of an extra-marital affair. i missed my opportunity.

still, the A is broken up. OM lost his marbles Friday with the NC letter. now on to verify and inspect.

These posts are markers to my progress, LA. An important reminder of how much I've done for me. I guess I'm loving myself right now.

FAR - we're not in counseling. NC letter went out Friday. WW left - fired - job on Monday. We're going to take it easy for a couple weeks. Enjoy post- A life. WW is home with kids, making dinner, getting up at a decent hour, being productive and appears to be happpy. All of this is a big change. Now it's only BEEN two days. LOL. So we're not breaking any records or anything. But we've got a COMLETELY different life now that OM and that horrid workplace are out of the picture.
