I'm looking for good books to read on how to recover from divorce. My wife of nearly 3 years was a WAW and we separated. I did what I could to try and save our marriage, but it isn't going to work.

Anyway, I'm looking for any books you can recommend on the subject. One I noticed on Amazon.com is called "Rebuilding" and it looks good.

Any other recommendations?

I'm also going to start going to a DivorceCare Group.

Rebuilding is a good book, the best I found and a top seller at amazon. Divorcecare has daily emails that are in a book too they say. The Bible is a good book to rediscover after messing your life up - so are other Christian books, Joel Osteen's in particular I have enjoyed. Books on health, yoga and fitness are good as when you are going through ******, getting in shape helps beat the stress - also books on dieting, eating right, health. I also bought books on hair, makeup, but that was a girl thing, I reinvented myself while going through this - why not look your best after a breakup? Books on organizing your life, Habits of Effective People and such, books that help you focus on self improvement. A journal/book with your own thoughts is helpful if you like to write. Obviously I'm a geek as I went book crazy the last year, a shrink said "this" was my way of getting through the split with my ex - and any way you get through it is fine, if books help, buy the divorce/healing books but also the health/exercise/improvement books too...
