To the gals....

Look how many of you are responding to this!!!!

This is quite existential, on so many levels.

There are plenty of quaint analogues of how the fairer sex wittily and wisely maneuvers those of off with a strong need for scratchin'. Too many to count. To the point that it seems those of us who believe our fingernails have a singular important function seem to be at the utter whim and fancy of those of you who don't understand the utter draw to USE said fingernails exclusively, repeatedly, and to hear you talk, continuously for said singularly important function.

Well THIS clearly disproves that. (Whatever that is). For I see the bevy of beauties is in a tizzy of sorts.

And those of us whom WAT originally addressed do not typically get in tizzies. Which has proved a point of some sort.

And why are we tizzy proof?

Well, when we feel one a comin', we know how to scratch it.

Mimi,

I'll clue you in on a little secret -

Nobody else around here gets anything either, they just pretend they do.

I mean come on, you don't really think Arkie gets it do you, ever?

All I'm saying is that WAT put the call out to the males.

Hang out. Scratch. Grunt.

To us, that communicates volumes. I mean, WAT and I could look at each other, grunt, scratch, and be content for the next few hours. Saying nothing else, looking at nothing in particular.

I knew exactly what he meant when he started the thread.

Then the volume of the ladies who had to COMMENT.

Not wrong, or bad, just different is all.

We have a "scratch code" if you will. Just as society says it is a women's prerogative to change her mind, it is a man's to communicate volumes with a scratch.

You gals just haven't heard that one yet.

Because we scratch it, we don't say it.

In code.

I'm totally serious.

NCW

PS - Why does the statement "Let me be blunt and get to the point" make any sense at all???
