No, it's not new. I've always added people to "My Friends Online" by double clicking on their name and adding them to the address book. If they choose to be invisible they don't show up there.
Sheesh, have I been on this board too long or what???
Edited to add, do you mean is the Who's Online feature new? I'm pretty sure it is.

Oh, Tatertot...I thought so! I liked it, though, saying Hi! because I don't get to do that to lurkers...and they're loved, too!
LOL, Jen...wow...you know maybe it is a good sign...when I learn all the bells and whistles, it means I'm not in the same place I was when I got here...which was go straight to reading, then posting...then reading more.
Could it be a good sign?

I think I'm having a childhood moment...I grew up in Southern California, and there was a tv show on their called, "Hobo Kelly" that I watched every day.
She was a clown who would put on these huge glasses and look out at the audience of children, and into the camera lense and "see" kids out there...calling out their names...
"And I see Johnny!" and wave
"And I see Linda!"
"And I see Jimmy!"
all this waving and acknowledging just thrilled me...attention from a television tube...with Who's Online, I suddenly feel like that...
I see you!
I'm smiling and delighted...
Well, now that explains my rambunctious feeling, doesn't it?

It probably is a good sign or a sign that, like me, you've been around a while.
It worried me a bit last night though after I'd posted family pics on Idiotville and then saw a few "Anonymous's" looking at Idiotville. They could be ANYONE.

My problem is whenever I disconnect from the Internet, (to get a little work accomplished) I also get logged out of MB. So most of the time, I am like those 50 plus anonymous names down below the registered user names, that only log in when they want to say something important. It looks like I have had that need 109 times. (To say something important.) LOL P.S. I think we are called LURKERS.
