It's on Ebay season by season for VERY cheap. I tried to link an auction, but it didn't work.
Loved the show, too. But not as much as Picket Fences (anyone remember that?)

I miss my days of watching t.v. The boys ahve been in Ohio for a week now (the big ones) and I have not turned the tv on yet. There's not enough time anymore. For such a book nerd in school, I loved my shows! (and yes, I watched these when in school still).

Not that anyone cares, but my favorite show (and a big YES I have been teased by every friend who knows this about me)is Murder SHe Wrote. Followed by Matlock with a close second. I love angela lansbury.

Pssssss InTexas

not name dropping
Mr Pep has worked with Ms Lansbury
she signed an autograph for our daughter ... on a photo of her as the Tea Kettle Mrs Potts.... from Beauty & The Beast

it still hangs in her room

alongside Johnny Depp !!!

love that juxtaposition of the teenage mind

Now don't I feel all silly? I just read this and was like those teenagers who get excited when the latest teen idol walks by. I was beaming.

I mean, vicariously I was excited, of course.

Is Mr. Pep an actor? (Sorry if I am too nosey--but this angela we're talking about, here).

(p.s.--i am not equating good ole' Jessica Fletcher with any teen heartthrob. She's just always made me feel those warm peaceful feelings and such.)

well

I never met the lady

Mr Pep sez she was 100% DEVOTED to her ailing husband (I think he's passed ... but not really sure... )

she works with her son, who was also very gracious and kind ... so your girlish devotion is not wasted on a crummy person ... she's genuine

Pep

Good to know. Genuine--good word. That's the feeling I always got.

There's some people, and I am referring to people IRL, not actors and such, that when you look in their eyes, you see "genuine."

What's that saying?...The eyes are the window to the soul ....something like that.

It isn't that long right this minute. The length varies..but it has generally always been long.

After Hs A I cut it.

The thing about really long hair is that the "growing out process" is measured in YEARS not months.

Mines down mid tush....think I'll trim it once it can be set (sat) on. Right now, tho, the Wookie keeps rolling over on it in the middle of the night and I'll wake up stuck in one place (this might be part of his conspiracy, but I dunno yet).

It's my get out of ******...um...jail free card in Texas/with Mel. If you don't wear (pronounced ware) it big, it's gotta be long.

Seriously...I'm lucky tho. Mine grows about 1/4 inch of new growth a month.

Sounds like a personal problem to me. I'll check to see if they make a patch for that.

Poor guy.

Well, when I turned 40 some dopey hairdresser told me it was time to go short -- especially since it's fine and thin and doesn't hold a style.

I hate that guy.

I've never been able to grow it out really long since... though it's been to my shoulders as recently as two years ago... and it seems never to be again... my hair grows oh-so-slowly...

Pre natal vitamins. Seriously. Your hair and nails will grow like weeds.

It's also really funny when your husband unpacks the grocery bag or opens the medicine cabinet and sees 'em. Like, him having a stroke funny.

(I'm evil...I know it...but evil in a fun way)

Dealan-de,

Almost as much fun as being hung up in bed [especially if you didn't KNOW that you were until you tried to stand up] is having a portion of it get caught in the updraft when getting into cars..then shutting the door unawares..

scenario A..A long weird looking tuft of hair trailing over the top of the car as you drive..or

scenario B..you move your head too far to one direction suddenly and relearn the difinition of OUCH!

In contrast..sitting on the floor with your hair pooling on the floor next to you..priceless.
