Even on a clear day I can't see any of you girls from here in Europe. Does this mean that the earth isn't flat?

HurtingDeeply is a fella, brownhair. <should I giggle here, because with all this talk about panties and all >

Now, HD, the last time you popped by and I saw you after-the-fact, I said hello but you were gone. You'd better come back here and 'see' me saying hello, or I will have to hunt you down!

Well, it would be page 533 of the old 1998 version (the one I still carry in my car). I'm not sure if they've changed pages since then or not, but I live in Burbank.

Yes.

Weird.

LOL! More than once I've been mistaken for a gal here. Kinda like JL!

Hunt me down? Well, now that I've given away my "location" even you might be able to figure it out, heh?

Hello right back to ya!

Haha yes it was the panties thing.
Should have read it better - HD said he "wouldn't even go there"

Howdy right back.

Hope you're enjoying this heat wave...it's almost 100 degrees today.

W is on her way to Beverly Hills now to get her hair done. She spends a fortune there, but I guess it's all a part of that "physical attractiveness" thing, so I don't mind too much.

We're going to Vegas on Wednesday for a few days. It will be the first time in almost two years that we've gotten away without the kids. I can't wait!

My good friend, oswald, also registered on the same day. He doesn't live close by, though. We both helped each other out a lot the first couple of years we were here because both of our situations with our wives were so similar.

He doesn't come around too much anymore, but it is pretty interesting.

By the way, since my Member # is lower than either of the other two I can call myself the "senior" of the bunch - regardless of how many posts Pep has!

we have not been to Vegas for 15 years

other than a 1 hour layover at the airport

I am not too much of a Vegas gurl ... but perhaps it is almost time to return

Flying out Wednesday early afternoon out of Burbank. 45 minutes there, another hour to get to the hotel and check in, then we can worry about the panties thing!

I once found $300 bucks on the way to Vegas...

we were newlyweds

I was working graveyard in the hospital

H picked me up from work at 7:30 AM & drove to Vegas while I napped

I opened my eyes and saw a stunning sunrise & said to H

"Stop the car so I can get a photo of the sunrise"

he pulled over (that reeeeeely straight as an arrow part of the road that cuts like a ribbon through the desert)

I stepped out

my foot hit a lumpy thing in the dirt

I looked down

it was a wallet

I threw it into the car & said

"Look what I just stepped on"

I snapped a few photos & got back in the car

looked into the wallet

no ID
just $300 cash

we were broke as church mice

we used the $$$ to buy our first vacuum cleaner

You mean you didn't lay it all down on the blackjack table?

Don't you know? $300 turns into $600....$600 turns into $1,200...

(Oh yeah, then $1,200 turns into zero!)

I guess the vacuum cleaner was the wiser choice.

Las Vegas is our FAVORITE PLACE to play and we aren't gamblers...

I love the penny machines. The new ones have characters that come out and talk to you as you win your pennies...

My H just surprised me this weekend, saying he is taking me there for our anniversary weekend in July...

Pep, it seems like the perfect place for you...it's a lot different, I understand, than 15 years ago...

In fact, I thought I saw you there at one of the machines...

That wasn't you?

Maybe it was Susan with the tiara on....

I think you can afford to at least play that $300 now...and then quit...that's a lot of time on the penny machines..

Oops, I forgot..since neither one of us has this issue...

There's lots more fun places to go as you well know...

We recently went to the top of PIKE'S PEAK on the COG RAILROAD...in Colorado Springs...

And don't let me forget WALT DISNEY WORLD..our other favorite place...
