Tony,

I'm feeling ok, Thanks for asking. I had a rough weekend very depressed - NO self med., been 2 weeks clean - I spoke with H for future "repair" on our marriage and it is not going to happen, he believes we are over. Now I must go on with some sort of outside counseling to overcome this before I resort back to other means of help. Anyone out there, who is thinking of having an A - STOP and think first, get the help before it is too late. I now have to live with what I did/created knowing that each day will be a struggle. I lost the man I love and that will never change. Thanks too all for your words and keep helping others.

NT,

What if...you had a choice of redemption in front of you...and the ultimate betrayal of yourself would be to turn away from it?

Would you want that redemption more than anything else?

NT, I'm sorry you're feeling so depressed. I'm glad you've avoided self-med, but I can assure you this will be very difficult in the future without a solid support system.

You don't know that this will never change. Maybe it won't, but you can't possibly know.

The longest journey starts with a single step...

I think you're first step needs to be towards getting healthy. You have to become someone your H would want to have back.

I still think you'd do well to check into rehab. You'll get the support you need there.
