Annie - I agree with WS and FHL. I think you were right on target in the first place to tell your H's boss what his situation really is. I think you were right to honestly tell your H what you'd told his boss, and I think your email to his boss was exactly what the situation required. It seems like living with the kind of pain we seem to have to strengthens us and gives us the wisdom, finally, to do what we have to do.
