Mel, I've been wondering about that for a long time. Thanks for clearning it up for me.

So vegetables and fruit can only be eaten together or alone?

Yes, I'm interested...what the hey, might as well. I don't really get where the ideas would come in as it seems pretty much all right there Brownie.

What ideas do you have about it though, and are they high faluten?

"California" must be the very worst of curse words... aside from your comment, weaver, the thread was dead in the water... perhaps dead in the Pacific Ocean?

"made up my mind to make a new start,
going to California with an aching in my heart...
Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
Telling myself its not as hard, hard, hard as it seems"

Go west young girl, go west.

California or bust.

That's all I got n_b.

Now get back here with your high faluten ideas and your hoity toity diet Brown.

I had fish sticks, mango, and cherries for lunch.

I'm guessing that's not on the diet.

It was good though.

1. Are you drama prone?

Hmm. I dont think so, but I do suffer from a genetic pre-disposition for chaos...does that count?

#1. HAVE YOU EVER ATTENDED A FAMILY-MEMBER WEDDING AND ENDED UP IN A BRAWL ?

No. But my grand-daddy did give me a .32 caliber (complete with leather holster) as a wedding gift!

Rule #1:
Never have anything with NUTS or BANANAS !!
Doesn't mix and results in 110% lunacy !
(at best, you'll turn out a fruitcake )

Rule #2:
Never mention a normal, real-life thing in a whacky thread.
*** Brownhair taking note of this rule herself ***

Rule #3
Never mess with a Texan.
Especially one who is packing a branding iron.

Rule #4
Rule #3 doesn't apply if you're into tattoos.

California is lovely today, thanks for asking. I'm about 10 minutes from San Francisco... (it's a tiny house, if that helps ) It's about 65F here at my office near Berkeley today. Clear blue sky. Had fresh salmon off the boat last night with an a**-whomping old vine zin from Sonoma. It's beer festival season here, the micro-brewerys are putting out their biggest IPA's. It's going to be a rough weekend... trying to get to all that beer. Wish me luck - Dru

Oh, and a little earthquake last night, for flavor. Just a 4.2 or so up in the wine country. Gives the tourist a nice story to tell when they get home

Thank you guys who gave me a little trip down California's memory lane!

Leave it to ML to turn the convo back to the state-that-will-not-be-named. (And yes, God bless that state - AND California!)

That still can't beat your occasional volcano eruption in Hawaii.

and.. good luck with the beer, Dru !

Wellummmm... no, it really doesn't.

Having trouble deciding though, on whether I'm more jealous of the house or the fresh salmon off the boat and the kickass old vine zin.

Hmmmm, maybe someone needs to kick your [censored] Dru...

maybe Mel.

1. Are YOU drama prone?

Nope, I don't think so. And if anyone wants to say that I am ...well we can just take it outside, because I will....oops... that would be a No.

2. When there is a lull in your life, might you unconsciously inject DRAMA to keep things interesting?

I sometimes think that I might have done that when I was younger. I excuse that with immaturity, because I outgrew it...I think.

3. Have you ever felt that a lack of drama in your marriage means the love spark is a flicker and not a flame?

That would be a resounding no. That's the place that I never wanted "drama". It's hard enough to keep it real without interjecting all the other minutiae.

4. Do you ever get exhausted being around people who eat, drink, breathe drama?

Well, I do get Hungry, does that count? That's why I often ask if anyone has got the popcorn popping when I read certain threads on MB.

Like she'd venture into the land of nuts and flakes on a bet! 'Sides, I kept all my side-arms, rifles and shotguns when I left Texas. I'd say the odds are pretty even I'm not your standard Californian...
