It might help to set up a seperate email account ...or not POST your email. MB offers that security and protection.

I set up an email dedicted to the MB site specifically.

Have I gotten hate mail/love mail .. .yeppers.

No biggie...that's why that email is dedicated to MB only.

If I didn't want those emails..I wouldn't post any email address.

I can't see the jest of anything since I have my ignore feature in overtime as of late. But I can see the idea.

I gotta weigh in here---I tried deliberately to stay out of the recent battles, since I'm trying to survive my OWN crisis, but your latest injustice just totally blows.

I don't know if this is a new wave here on the board or what, but it cannot continue. I am so sorry this happened, but maybe it will make others realize that while most of us are here to help each other, there are certainly those who are just here to screw with others.

Hi. I am a long time reader, first time poster. This caught my eye since I work for mediacom.
I don't know if this helps, but I looked up this IP address in our system. There are just under 18,000 accounts that have this IP address as the first part of their identifying number on our grid.
A net thrown out to keep the number off of this site would sadly catch and block all of those people. Hopefully most of them are in good marriages!
Regardless, the OP looks vindicated, I hope people just leave him alone now.

MEDC, I know that you and I haven't always seen eye to eye but I want to add my voice to say this totally sucks.

MEDC, have you tried narrowing it down to a list of people who have objected to your posts?

I have a few ideas... it should be easy to figure out. I know it is not someone like KiwiJ or Suzet... we disagree strongly at times but there is a difference between disagreeing and a lack of class. Neither of them lack class in anyway.

IWRA has emailed me a few times the past couple of days and I have been nothing but polite and kind to her. I would count her out as well....
There are some there that might be possible or it could be somebody else...
Funny how a long time reader and new poster shows up that happens to work for mediacom... huh??? I will continue to work on this from my end and if Justuss gets what she is looking for... we will have an answer. I truly mean that if the person wants to own up and apologize... on here ... or privately to me... that will be the end of it... but if I need to work to pursue this, well then my response will be a bit harsher and will involve other parties.

To Whoever sent this: This is kinda like an affair....no matter how angry you were, no matter what your beef with medc has been.....this is unethical, indefensible and cruel. Lots of folks on this board don't agree....but this whole issue of behind the scene backstabbing....is just plain ugly and unsettling. Anyway, I've noticed a lot of folks in disagreement on some particular issues lately, but I'm absolutely convinced that the e-card you got was not representative of most who have been on the opposite side of the fence from you. Most folks know how to disagree civilly, I think, I hope.
Anyway, it totally sucks.

I've been in such turmoil lately that I can't even remember if I've disagreed with you on anything. If I've made it on your short list of suspects, please know that the Wonderings and Orchid know my email address, so just ask them for it, and you can cross me off the suspects. I know I'm just being paranoid, but this kind of thing makes all of us feel creepy.

not even on the radar for that. the email account is not the issue either... the IP address identifies the computer itself.
I have no issues with you and have no doubt that this is narrowed down to a few different people at this point.
