I do know first hand that WS and OP conspire to maintain the fantasy or the A as long as possible and seem to get a charge out of comparing notes, stories, and alibis.

I have been reading the "The Other Woman" forums, and the WH actually DO tell their OW they will be calling and telling them that they won't be calling them anymore. Read the forums over there - a huge wake up call for any BW. The WH has the OW prepped and aware that the BW knows about the A, and is going to have him call the OW, tell her that he is now in NC. They have everything prearranged, and set up to have their A go "underground" from that point on. They continue, just go more secretive.

Then OW posts on that website, laughing and mocking the BW.

Worth the read, because it might help you catch them.

Lucky to be where I am, in a safe place to get marriage-related support.
Recovered.
Happy.

Our new marriage began that day. Not easily, but it did happen.
