MLHB--That is a good attitude to have. After all a marriage is supposed to last a life time, kids last only 18 yrs or so and then they are on theri onw. HOWEVER-Read Step Wars about adult step kids and the issues involved--may scare you! Having the marraige first is the best antidote. johoman

Nellie- Everybdoy is talking about getting re-married when you have kids. NEWS FLASH!!!!! I makes no difference if your kids are 2 or 50 getting remarried is a HUGE hassle for all concerned. Does not matter if you are divorced or widowed. My father re-married 4 times after my parents divorced and I handled it a a "Distancer". I stayed away most of the time. Read Step Wars- cocnerning the problem of re-married older people. There are 5 furies to contend with. These can be quite demanding. For you Nellie- It is obvious to you that re-marriage is not inportant to you and for you that is no big deal. You are probaly happier not being married. I also disagree with Dr. Laura. johoman
