FB,

Hi I don't think I eva posted to you (in my best Mainah accent)... I'm in Central Maine. About 2 hours from the NH border.

I have friends in NH. They live in Concord area. Always loved to go to Hampton beach when I was in HS. I'm origanally from Mass. So I'm still considered as from away....even though my 3 kids are born and bred mainahs. You have them black flys in NH? I never remember them in Mass when I was growing up.

Rin and here I thought the mosquito was our state bird... I bet ours are bigger than yours

I know those bites can be pretty severe. The black flys here just don't stop they fly all around you in a swarm and fly up your nose and into your mouth. Gross. But getting enough bites can make you swell up. Had it happen to my kids.

Still

People!

Could we please stop paying so much attention to the mosquito--which by the way is WISCONSIN'S state bird? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> GEEZ!

Silent~~

What Eph525 says is true...pace yourself. As I often remind people who are "in it for the long haul", you do not have an unending reserve of energy and strength, so some time or another you are going to have to rest. You can't always "move forward." The trick is to not fall into "old" behavior patterns--keep up what you are learning--but to also take time to stop the forward motion and regain some strength and renew. Make sense?

Soooo...how's your day today?

The biggest, nastiest mosquitos live in Minnesota (also the state bird). I thought everyone knew that.

CJ has it right. The challenge for me is staying focused in the face of triggers (even small ones). They pull me off target a little bit, and pretty soon I'm not concentrating on me anymore.

sl,

i know alot of us here flt like we had the victory when your H showed up, and then the pain of that loss when WH showed up. I am glad you are here...you encourage so many and by helping others, I think it strengthens you.

You are amazing and you will soon feel whole again! You have the ability to see the glass as half full...that is a wonderful blessing that not everyone has.

Good things are in store for you!!!
