I thought I wish I would have found this site sooner, would have helped me. Then I thought, wow, I really screwed up when I read about exposure, Plan A, Plan B...I did the crying, pleading begging LB/DJ plan, it didn't work so well!

I couldn't believe I could find a site where complete strangers would offer compassionate help to a fellow human being. The very first few days after I found MB I'd see that someone had actually responded to a question with solid, grounded advice and it would bring tears to my eyes. The sadness of my sitch, and the grace of the help were overwhelming.

I couldn't believe some of the "weird" stuff they were telling me to do, so instead, I did it "my" way.

I set myself back in the process maybe 3 months by doing things "my" way.

I started doing the "weird" stuff I was being told to do, and started to see progress. We've been in recovery for a couple of years now.

I still can't believe so many people will offer so much help to complete strangers, but I'm very proud to be one of those people today.

Bless all those that helped me when I first arrived!!!

I was in such chaos, such pain, that I read for quite a long time and began to lurk on the boards. I read SAA, then I started posting. I don't know what will happen with my M, but I KNOW that I will be fine, and that I have learned so much more about HOW to have a good M. I have learned how to respect someone, and how to communicate.

oooo, and, and, I've learned how to make readable paragraphs, so REAAAAAALLY OLD people can help me, too!

LG - Puh-lease. I didn't realize they even counted RI as a state when I drove through there - I think our school district is actually larger than your state....now, don't you really hate Texas?

On topic now.

I was so relieved to find MB. I thought I was going to go crazy, because I needed to figure out if what I was feeling was normal, how to save my marriage and not leave my stupid WH who really was a good person but just REALLY STUPID at the time (he agrees), and how to do this whole thing better and RIGHT this time.

So yeah, overall, I thought,

THANK THE HOLY LORD ABOVE.

No, not RI, But the land of pleasant living.....

And carpet bagging? I thought everything you ever needed was available in Tex-As

LG >>>> Listening intently for Mel's thundering keyboard....

But glad to be here, in MB Land, just the same!

PS: I really ain't putting up much of a fight here....But some of the responses have been really great.

Well, I figure if I fill it with minutia 24/7 it prevents me from having to do anything resembling ....well.......productivity. heh.

Bless you back, as you have made a big difference in my life as I've crawled out of the black slag. Thank you.

I promise.

When I saw you hope that mthrrhbard might know how earnestly you admired her, it seemed an appropriate time to tell you the same thing. You have no idea how many times I would come here with tears of shame running down my face not knowing what to do......how to make it right. So I would read Snow so I would know that I wasn't a despicable human (anymore), and when I would calm down, I would read you so I could stretch myself and so I could deeply and intimately understand what I participated in. There have been times through the years when I have wanted to reach into my monitor and choke you. But when I'd take my little nugget of your sharing out of my pocket and examine it in the privacy of my pain, I would time after time after time after time realize that you were right. And so I learned. And I'm better for it.

So thank you again, and I'll end this self indulgent T/J!

You rock. Never forget that you are very, very special to more than you know.

Oh I see, with her bad eyes she can't see the chair too well. Poor girl must have a sore bum.
