Hey MEDC!

Has your newling come home yet?

I told the Wookie about you, he sends his congratulations!

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

Hi. Thanks for the message. It looks like Feb 16th is the day! I have already enrolled her at school effective the following Monday! Her room is almost done! We are quite pleased and looking forward to her arrival.
Thanks again for the kind words.

Thanks. I love being a father. Nothing else compares to it in my heart.

Have you even met her yet?

What is her story?

Assuming you want to share that with us.

I did meet her briefly(this is unusual here). My son has not. She is coming from another fh and I suspect there are reasons on the fosters end that it isn't working out(I get the impression that the foster family was in it for the money as too many locally are. The case worker is not allowed to give me that information but I could gather it from what she did say). As far as her story...its long and sad(abuse and neglect... not the worst I have heard of or seen... but more than a child should have to endure)... but it will have a happy ending for all of us. Her name is Kanai which I have been told means contentment.
One concern I do have... but will deal with as is necessary... is the race difference while meaningless to me and my son... could become an issue in some parts of my geographical area.
When I moved here my neighbor said to me... "the civil war is still being fought down here and the south is winning" I live on the Mason Dixon Line. I am sure things will work out and God help anyone that causes problems for her... they will have a 6'3" 230# tiger on their tail. I am just praying for the best with everything.
Thanks for asking.
