We enjoyed Nanny McPhee

I HIGHLY recommend Whale Rider and Finding Forester.

We enjoyed Racing Stripes, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe, and Narnia.

Oh, and my childen, who are 13 and 16, both enjoyed the new Pink Panther (with Steve Martin) and most of the old ones w/ Peter Sellers.

I loved 'Calendar Girls'.

Going to see the "Night at the Museum" movie in about 20 minutes.

Mr. W

Great Movie.....

We loved it.

Has anyone ever seen the documentary the The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill? Short but good. It's a documentary but with a love story twist.

Ok, I liked Swiss Family Robinson. Then again, I also loved the McGvyer series (Richard Dean Anderson - soo cute!!! .

I liked ET and Jurassic Park. Ok, that dino story may be graphic for some but my son loved it when he was very young. He became known as the 'dino boy' because he would wake up talking about his dinosaurs..... for years.

Zathura is another good movie.

An oldie is Island of the Blue Dolphin.

My ds loves all the Andy Griffith Show reruns...along with all the Star Wars movies(his favs).

If you are looking for your dd, how about all the old Doris Day movies. Or the old Judy Garland movies...lots of singing and dancing, Meet Me in St. Louis is great, as is Easter Parade. How about Wizard of Oz...Chitty Chitty Bang Bang...Sound of Music...Herbie the Love Bug...That Darn Cat...Parent Trap...Bedknobs and Broomsticks...PollyAnna...Gidget...(note: all the originals, not the remakes)

And if you want a funny/silly/somewhat scarey good family movie...The Private Eyes with Tim Conway and Don Knots. It is silly-hysterical yet somewhat scarey.

I also LOVE "My Dog Skip." It stars the kid from Malcom in the Middle when he was younger. Tear-jerker, but I'm a softy...'specially those dog stories.

I have heard that Facing The Giants is good. Probably would be a good one for a WS to watch.

Check the trailer here:

http://www.facingthegiants.com/dvdmedia.php

I am going to get it myself.

Divorced on 3/25/2008 but I have primary legal and physical custody of my 2 kids.
