What is the best resource for us as a couple recovering from an A? Surviving an Affair?

We have gotten a lot out of the home study course. It costs roughly the same as one hour of telephone counseling. It is specific, concrete, private, and you can take as much time you need on each lesson. (It's meant to be 26 weeks, but we are just over half way through and have been working on it since May.)

The course gives each partner's perspective equal dignity, IMHO. One week's "emotional need" may have more work or adjustment for one partner; but that will soon be balanced out by another week's lesson.

My H doesn't agree with everything in the course. That's OK. He is willing to do the work for the most part. He did read "Surviving an Affair" before agreeing to the course.

Just my experience.
