BC I didn't get it either I thought it was an inside joke. LOL too funny.

Rin,

It is amazing what you can do when you have to do it.

That is why faith in yourself is so important. If you think you can't, you can't.

Thats what I have always heard.

Good for you.

SWEET! She's drivin SOOO good...i picked up the kids early so that I didn't have to drive back over there to get them and fight the traffic...

Since I was picking up the car, I asked if I could get an estimate to fix the ignition, so I'll be getting that tomorrow...

So, by the time that I'm finished I'll have dropped a grand in it...it's an 01'...maybe that's why it's called a "Grand" Prix...LOL

Actually, most of what I've done is maintainance, so I'm hoping she'll be good to go for a while...the ignition is the only thing that I wouldn't consider maintainance...

I figure regardless of the sitch I still have to have a dependable car, so I might as well do it now...

Frog- you're in sales right? I was just wondering what kind, reason I ask...

I can say that's one good thing that came out of the M...I got to take care of the stuff like thing, repairs on the house...heck, even shoppin for vehicles...

So, TBH, the only thing that's really different right now is that I don't have the additional weight of STBX and having to compensate for the things that he wanted to do or waste money on...

I'm using this time to focus on paying things down so that I'll really be in a good position when I either move into the house or whatever I have to do...

LOL...there is a nice little house for sale RIGHT down the road from STBX...in my price range! A block or so away...thing is I'm not even sure that I COULD buy my own house right now...considering that WE ARE still technically Med...I would hate for it to be considered community property too!

It's something else I need to check into...

Well, thanks for your time...L's not feeling well.."his throat is bumpy" and he's running a fever, oh, and his head hurts...so, I'm off to play doctor...LOL <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

SB,

You lost me on the question. LOL.

Yes I am in sales.

If you are asking about houses I don't know. Each state is different as far as the laws are concerned. In So Cal things are different the in So LA. LOL.

I would think you would want to pull your credit reports that is important. That will decide most everything for you.

See what your report says and start working on fixing it if it needs too.

If you are separated you may want to wait until CS is settled because it can go on the loan app I think as extra money coming in.

YOu will have to check.

I dont' think that it would be community property but I would wait until the money is seperated legally.

LOL...I was asking what kind of sales you were in...just to ask...

Then I went off on a whole new topic about houses...LOL...sorry...

I pulled my credit report a few weeks ago...everything looked really good...thing is I'm going to have to have that nice little document that has our settlement to do anything come to think of it...

Once I get HIS stuff off of me, man I'm set...I'm sure that my score will be in the 700's and then I can move on from there...I have always done my best to pay things on time or work with my creditors to make sure that it was reported...

So, I guess even if for "some reason" I don't get teh house I can rent something until we get all of the legal stuff out of the way...I was thinking on the way home that there is one super nice apt. complex here, out of the way and in a good location that I would mind living in...

Just trying to be open minded...LOL...

Yeap, not only to I get to add CS as extra income, but I get to pay taxes on it too huh?

Well, I got L some Motrin and he's starting to feel better! He painted a picture last night and when we got home My Spon. had cut it down to size and framed it...He was so excited...

I just heard him ask her about it and tell her thank you...

F has a science project due Monday and he is on the phone with his partner...they wanted to know if F could go over and work on the project so I'm figuring out something for that...possibly tomorrow...

Well, let me see what else is going on in S4B's world...

You do not pay taxes on CS. You get to claim the kids as dependents.

It is free money LOL.

From what I am reading about the housing market you may want to wait anyway.

You are doing great.

I am in internet sales by the way.

Awesome...free money...the housing marlet is crazy around here right now...houses are goign for 4 to 5 grand above asking price...

Housing shortage due to Hurricane Katrine...I could get a nice penny for my house right now...I checked the comps out on it today...anywhere from 60 to 80 dollars per square...

We picked it up for 46 a square...home girl here knows her stuff...STBX just doesn't know what he got himself into...

LMAO
