For those who need help with spelling, get the Google toolbar (FREE) here:

http://toolbar.google.com/T4/

And remember folks, those who read what you say can do so with better understanding if you use PARAGRAPHS.

I do this for a living. I wouldn't post a procedure that was either difficult to install or hard to use.

Larry

Edited to correct spelling ROFLMAO

Hey Larry - would it pick up a grammar error - like if you said roast instead of toast?

No, it doesn't. I hope Google elects to include one at some future date for those of us who constantly post on the web as a matter of making a living. I do a ton of emails every day.

For longer posts, I will often open up my old copy of Word Perfect and use it because it also has a grammar checker. If you want a great free product, go to openoffice.org and get those components you need. Then you can write your stuff there and easily copy it to the Post window here.

For cutting and pasting, keyboard shortcuts work great.

CTRL A makes a whole document highlight. Or you can use your mouse to highlight selected text from WP or Word (yuck phooie) or writer from openoffice.org.

CTRL C copies what you have highlighted to a hidden clipboard in Windows.

CTRL V writes whatever you have in clipboard to where your cursor is blinking, such as this Post box.

I hope that helped.

We have four HUGE pecan trees on two city lots, plus a cedar tree that is about three feet in diameter at the base I wish I could get rid of. In actuality, we are barely in West Texas, but the tree line gets a bit erratic just west of us.

Probably the original dictionary was loaded by some sorta Yankee. BUT, note that right click a highlighted word yields the ability to add to your personal dictionary that then resides on your very own computer. Then it will talk Texan.

How close are you to San Angelo? I've boiled a few sacks of crawfish in that town.

I will try to translate.

The toolbar is not worth Poo Poo!

It does not understand Southern Louisiana Cajun dialect at all.

Those of us from the North do not understand a F'ing thing and should be cursed. (or maybe it's we should go have SF with ourselves with a singular de-emphasis on fulfillment.)

That's about it. Thanks BC for your input.

Good Job Chris!!

You're from the North. You understood it.
Does that mean I have to retract my statement?

BC,

I am originally from Minnesota. I have walked across the Mississippi River on rocks without getting my feet wet at the headwaters at Lake Itasca.

You are at the other end.

But MB makes us brothers.

Well, I got my a into g, took time off from afternoon tea, put on some bangers, thought about buying a bach, thought Larry was a bit of a dag, thought about going up the boohai, got something from the boot of the car, saw a boy-racer when I was out there, got a bit brassed off, put on my cardie, filled the chilly bin with beer, thought this google thing was a bit dodgy, thought I'd have a crack at it, lit a durry....

No, I can't do it. Even using a dictionary of NZ slang. lol
