I'll make a cassette....yeah, quit laughing.. ....so I can time the music splices of the 7-8 songs I chose to match the story. (WWII romance) These are original songs on CD which I have artists' permission to use....yeah, I know you're laughing again!
I'll give my brother a list of the songs, order and minutes/seconds of each clip that he will burn to a CD in order. My 'consultant' said that would be easier than trying to time loaded song clips blindly on a parallel audio track to be merged as video #2.....
....I think!!!!!!!

PS more later after I talk to MC ('my consultant'...not our marriage counselor!!!LOL but we'll see him on Tues.)

Just thinking out loud here (and no I am not laughing )
Step by step:
if you take what your brother burns to the CD, you should be able to "rip" that back to your PC. For example, let's say that it's 5 music clips.
Then create a new project in movie maker, and import video #1 into it. This will give the pics on the video track and the narration on the audio track portion of the video
Then drag the 5 music clips into the new project on the audio/Music track.
It seems logical that it would work. If you need, I can send some screen shots showing this.
I'll check back tomorrow....oops I mean later today since it is 2am for me

PS Hey! 22Dev......where are you? Thanks for the thread but hope you don't think you're being purposely excluded. We're still "on track".....how's that for a pun..... but it'd be great to get your input.
