Happy Mother's Day LovingAnyway...I too am sorry that this will be your first Mother's day without your mom!
It's also the first Mother's Day with that new grandbaby...I know that YOU are spoiling HER! Girl right?
The blessing...

Do I have to say HOW MUCH YOU have done for me? LMAO <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I posted a question on MF's 'Mother's Day heads up' fun thread (Recovery) before I saw you had this one. (It fits there better, though, but'd I'd love to hear how others answer it.)
LG,
Thanks for caring enough to be the resident FWH and helping us BS newbies gain the added perspective we need. Your posting "investments" (even in spite of tax season deadllines) showed the commitment of a 'mother' and I for one am eternally grateful.

Chrisner,
Happy "Fothers" (and "Mathers") Day to you, too. So sweet of you to encourage my smile. The enemy tries to tell me that I irritate more than I inspire with my being one of the most "upbeat residents of betrayedville". Do you remember labeling me that after we exposed to OPS in early Feb.?
I didn't warrant that label during our 5 week separation in March & April <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />, but it's nice to hear you say it now. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
H is coaching a select youth baseball game so I gotta run. Again, thanks, Coach C.....you've made my MB day....and I will keep smilin' in spite of what the enemy tries to tell me.
And Happy Mother's day, especially to guys with sole custody.
Ace
P.S. I was impacted by your deep post on the Killer Bee thread, Chrisner. Very insightful......thanks for digging way down.

Thank you, LG, for this thread...and thank you Rin for your wishes...right back at you.
Yes, I'll be spending Mother's Day with four other mothers...one of which is my DIL and grandbaby. And yes, Carnation...very much the ultimate blessing, IMO.
(((Chrisner))) for sharing a first with me...and there are others...
And this one is to Believer...who is a mother of mothers to me...enduring, unfailing, present and welcoming.
I'm still aspiring...and I thank all of you for your examples, your sharing...I treasure all of you.
I wish we had a Mentor Day...that would be a really long thread!
(And to EarsOpen and Better_Than_Ever and Lizziedora and Lunamare and AmIOK and MAZ and Daze and the remarkable Jean36 and Diamondsj and LLG and JustJilly...and...so many here)
It's official (my time) for Mother's Day...
LA
P.S. BC, do you have a matching handbag for that little black number?

I got in to sleep until 8AM, which is nice. The sun is able to find it's way to the earth with ease today through a piercingly blue, cloudless sky.
My DS came downstairs and said "Happy Mother's Day", after being prodded by his daddy. Very sweet.
My FWH is going to cook us breakfast, and I'm going to laze around, have some coffee, and laze some more.
We are going to a local nursery to pick out a rose bush (I like yellow) for mothers day gift, and we are planting a tree for my FWH's mother. She died two years ago.
Today I reflect on who taught me to be a mother, my mom. I do miss her so, flaws and all, one of my favorite people, and a fine woman. She always told me I would not know how much she loved me until I had a child of my own. She was absolutely right. I wish she was hear to meet my son.
LG, thanks for starting this thread, spot on delivery from our Bee UPS man.
I would like to wish all the mommies and grammy's Happy Mother's Day!
BC, I have got some patent leather, peep toe shoes that would be killer with that little black dress... <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks LG, it's been a good weekend. My ex's son even stopped by and brought me a bottle of wine, some flowers, and a LOVELY card that made me tear up.
And Happy Mother's Day to all the MB men who are standing for their family, caring for their kids, and also being the LEADER in their family. I admire them all - Eph525, San Diego Guy, Chrisner, MEDC, Mortarman, and the rest. I know I've forgotton some.

Chrisner and LA (and others whose mom's have passed away in the previous year),,,,
My mom nearly died recently and I caught a glimpse of the void you may be experiencing today.
My prayers are with you all.
