I saw a bumper sticker for a church today that made me thing of this site...

You may come as you are...but you never stay as you are.

I thought that was such a good description of us.

So the other thing I'm doing is looking for a tube of epoxy. Let me know if you run across it.

Is there one in the standard issue Killer Bee Survival Kit? There should be, although I guess duct tape is probably good enough in a pinch.

Ok, did ya'll know that I'm a vast resource of useless knowledge.

Duck tape was invented during WWII b/c they needed a strong water proof tape, hence duck tape. After WWII it went into commercial use as a sealant in A/C systems, hence duct tape.

But it's the same tape, just changed the name a little over time b/c of its use.

At least that's the short version. If you want the long version you'll have to come visit and bring some beer.

I think I'm turning into the mail man on Cheers. What was his name, Cliff?

Ok, so this is how nuts my last step father was; he was in the Army, so he would have regular stashes of the green duck tape sitting around. He didn't want us kids drinking HIS milk (I don't think he learned how to SHARE as a child, but that's for another time), so he would identify it by placing the Green duck tape over the lip. What a maroon!

He would also place a strip of this tape along the inside of his closed bedroom door to see if we tried to break in while he was away at work. He didn't know that the patio door that led to his room was broken for quite some time, so we would just sneak in that way and move things around, just for spite.

Ah, green duck tape...

This Bee has been a buzzing.
Life is busy for me.

D is on full steam, we have agreed to TALK about some issues to try to save some atty. fees.
Still trying to hammer out Asset split with WW - we have a lot of complicated issues. When we discuss these issues I think she realizes what she has left behind.

WW has realized how she has destroyed a good family, She has found herself living in an apartment, worried about money, worried about where her life is going, worried that her children don't like her anymore. Worried that her relationship with OM is going nowhere. Sucks to be Her.

But She still wont give up on OM.

My emotional roller coaster doesn't end. When she is nice I miss her - When she is mean it hurts.

Plan B? -- I tried to do a short plan A again while trying to repair the relationship between WW and children, but after continuing to be hurt by her. I found myself naturally trying to stay away - Self preservation.

Can I wrap my head in that duck tape so it doesn't explode?

That all sounds pretty depressing and it is, but really I am in pretty good shape.

Party on

SURE, but I strongly recommend using some type of clothe before using the tape...personal experience!

In college I had to play a 12 year old girl, so I had to tape "my mountains" down!

Seems like every now and then we always get around to talking about the girls, where they are now, where they were, how to get them back where they belong, how our kids impacted them...sort of like WAYWARDS!!!

But it reminds me...a particularly busty (and kid-less) friend of mine introduced me to a new term...one that I would never have reason to become familiar with given my far less generous ta-tas.

When she was running, she would have to "double bag."

Who knew???
