We are trying to fly back from my mother's and they cancelled all the flights in Dallas [our connection to Houston] this afternoon because of the RAIN. The rain seems to have moved on now, so they are playing catch up. This place is a MAD HOUSE of wall to wall chilluns!

It stinks when planes get delayed - because of the way routes are set up - a delay or cancellation on the other side of the country can have a serious ripple effect everywhere else <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Be glad you aren't stuck there with one of my client's kids. I was within a hair's breadth of committing child abuse (or seriously throttling the parent) yesterday. One of them even climbed inside the cabinet of a new aquarium I had on display - almost as bad as a kid climbing into a china cabinet in a furniture store! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> After they left, XH shook his head - he said he remembers me telling him once, a long time ago, that those two were brats - but he dismissed what I'd said because I don't have much patience with unruly kids. After all that I said, "Am I validated?" and he said, "OMG - and then some!" Those two in an airport would be borderline terrorists. They are most certainly terrors! Hard to be mad at them stuck in an airport - tired, hungry, BORED... but still, parents have to respect others' quiet enjoyment - or quiet patience, or quiet frustration...
