she keeps telling me she needs space to grieve and I'm not giving it to her. Do you ask without hard evidence? I've danced around the subject before and it just turns into a fight. She saying that I'm just being insecure. Please hang in there with me.

Jim...

You do NOT ask her, that will only lead to denials...and her going on the offensive trying to make you the bad guy...and possibly taking things deeper underground...YOU SNOOP...You INSPECT what you EXPECT...She does NOT have a right to secrecy to have an affair! Will you please start snooping? You are wasting your time doing anything else but that...

Please answer my question regarding snooping...We are trying to help you to help yourself Jim, but this is getting to be like pulling hen's teeth...

I understand that you are distressed and possibly panicking, however, for you to receive the best possible advice here, it would be helpful if you would answer questions and let us walk you through this...I am sorry that you are going through this...

That's why you don't "dance around the subject," but rather actually do something to prevent this from going further. Tell her that this relationship is inappropriate and you will not tolerate a continued relationship with OM. What is she says you are controlling? BFD, she'll get over it. If she continues to call him up, turn off her phone. Put GPS on her car, so you know if she is visiting him. Tell her parents about her continued inappropriate relationship with OM. You are allowing it to happen. Just put your foot down and put and end to this.
