Has anyone noticed that our board is the slowest moving board and there are days that we have nothing going on????!!!!!!!

That's sad!!! We need to do something about that, but what?

A while back there was describe yourself as a supermarket aisle or something, what about something goofy like that?

Does anyone have any ideas out there?

How about what are you doing on a Friday night?

We need a boost of some kind!!!!

So the board matches my life.
Perhaps the active people are off having dates.
I spent Friday night having a girl scout meeting at my house. We had to describe the Girl Scout Cookies and make posters to sell them.
Anyone want to buy girl scout cookies?
Did you know that all varieties are Kosher and have no transfats?

Interesting about the cookies, I did not know that.

Board is matching my life, too. Lots of kid stuff on my weekends, and a girls night here and there on my off nights. Nothing happening.

Well, B and I and my DS went out to dinner, ran into friends/clients/fellow geocachers (the client of mine and his wife, who got me into geocaching in the first place!) were seated next to us so the conversation flowed back and forth between both tables.

Came back to my place after dinner, watched some TV. DD was at an away football game.

B left about 11, DD got home about midnight, and of course she had to tell me all about her evening... then I couldn't get to sleep.

Watched ER, CSI, Private Practice and part of a month-old episode of a daytime soap that I watch (I'm over a month behind in my soap viewing - and I only watch one!)... before I finally drifted off to sleep about 3:00.

Went to work at 10.. home about half an hour ago (6:45).

DD is at a band competition, DS just left with XH to go and spectate. B may come over for dinner again - he had some dental work done today so he's not feeling 100% but I offered to fix him some soup and such tonight if he's up to it - gonna pamper him a bit as he's under the weather.

Life is pretty good

Oh yeah and tomorrow, B is going to take us gold panning in the morning. I have to work for 4 hours in the PM but I told XH that I may be a bit late

Well nothing has changed for me, Friday night I spent the evening with the 3 guys in my life, the same as I did tonight, but oh hey we went to church tonight.

Spent all day in the bowling alley with kids, got done with the kids and bowled 3 games with BG and my YD, I was the victor.

I gave two haircuts tonight and so am full of hair and ready to shower and go to bed. It's only 11:30 on a Saturday night. And yet again Mr Wonderful did not knock on my door and ask for a date. How is it that we are to meet if he can't find my house?

I do get to bowl on league tomorrow night, I was very adamant about never taking GSs with me, as I wanted adult time, but everyone else brings their kids and so I still have screaming kids running around. But hey I found that they aren't as loud when you aren't responsible for their behavior. (Pink wine coolers dull the noise, too) Their parents are annoying tho for not making them set down and behave and do something quiet and constructive!!! My kids weren't ever allowed to run around. It wasn't easy being the hard nose with them all the time, but it's fun to watch what they expect from their own kids!

Good Night, Mr Wonderful my address is 625 Westwind Dr, just so you'll know!!!

is that the one with Ridgewood street at one end and Bellwood Drive at the other?

Learning from your own mistakes creates experience, learning from books creates knowledge, combining the two together creates wisdom => You start with a full bag of luck, and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.

Well we didn't end up going panning... B had dental work done yesterday and he was still feeling kind of peckish this morning.

We *are* going to go next Sunday morning, for sure

Tonight after I'm finished work we might go find a few geocaches.

Dawn!

If he reads here, he knows you're witty, fun, kind, and have your act together. Now he has an invite to your house. If he shows, you'll think he's a pyscho.

Maybe we should all come over. Now that wouldn't be so boring would it?

Well, I had a banner day on Saturday because we didn't end up in the ER. Can I cheer that?
After a beautiful day at a fundraising picnic, where we fished for 2 hours (yes, 3 girls), lots of running around and a moon bounce, my DD8 put her hand on a board, and a nail went in. Crying, screaming and demanding we hit the ER, on the phone, the doctor said clean it and watch it and know that the Tetnus is up to date. She still wants to go to the doctor.

They were impressed that mom knew how to get the fishing poles ready and how to teach them to cast. And I caught 3 sunfish (they caught none).

Today they are deciding between fishing and kayaking or the local amusement park. And it is a decision. What a beautiful, warm fall day. Yeah.

Dates, what are those things?
I heard back from the Japanese guy. I haven't seen him since June or July. I don't think I have the energy to date him. When dating is too much trouble, well . . ..
Life is boring (or busy).

I flew my airplane for the first time in 9 months on Saturday.

Felt good to be back in the sky.

Pariah,
That sounds like way to much fun!!! Why was it 9 months since your last flight?

Dawn

Hey rolled a 537 series last night for my first set and a 549 with a 203 for my second set. That is way above average for me.

I've been grounded from a gunshot wound.

I'm medically cleared to fly again as of last Friday.

I remember the "I Caught the Wife...Then Got Shot" thread.

It was right when I first came to MB in December.

Glad to hear you are flying again.

I coached 2 JV boy high school fall league games (went 1-1) and got my hair cut so I could appear in public again.

Jin,

Y'all gonna pan up in Dahalonega?

That's where my plane is!!

When y'all go panning, be sure to ask if Lemon their pet cockatoo is around to be played with. She is such a sweetie!

If y'all go during the Gold Days, my older brother and his wife will be up there in their 49er's outfits and he will make SURE you get every bit out of your bucket.

He has the knack for finding every last little bitty flake.
