Woohoo Pariah! That the Stony River at Mansell & 9? (or close to that?)... I've never been but it sounds pretty $$$.

B is out of town, with his Mom visiting Grandma and Aunt, but that doesn't mean I had a boring Friday... nuh-uh!

DD and DS were performing during the football game - Homecoming no less, so I was there to see that and work the concession stand. It wasn't as busy as the last time I worked there, but it kept me hopping. Got home about 11-ish with some leftover burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Tonight is the Homecoming dance... DD has to be there for 7. It's XH's b'day so the kids will be going over to XH's.

B will be back sometime tomorrow. I'm babysitting his doggie.

No boring here!

had an over hour long facial/massage friday and today i am getting my hair done with tri color lowlights in my blonde hair. a nice touch for fall. i am looking into that air brush tanning... i would like some color but have been avoiding the tanning beds as i know they are terrible for your skin. but i NEED some color. then i am going to hit the "bare minerals" make up store and get some new make up. it is a pamper me weekend. no dates, no kids. just me. and that is fine.

then... i will do lots of homework.

We went to the one on Holcomb Bridge Road since I can just take 140 straight back up to Canton.

The entrees are around $25. Not bad for a nicer restaurant.

It's always booked and crowded.

Today after work, I think I'm gonna go shooting and get ready for deer season. This year I want to use my 1866 Henry cowboy rifle.

I can still see good enough to use open sights and Tabs wants some deer for the freezer. At least it will be a challenge for me and a good chance for the deer to get away.

It's just too easy with a modern high powered rifle.

You need rifles down south to hunt?
I had one deer 4 feet from my door this morning. Then we spent about 10 minutes trying to figure out if it was a deer or a bear sleeping in our blueberry patch. Deer it turned out. Suburbia has encroached.
We had all hoped it was a bear so we could avoid raking leaves.

It was a marriage that never really started.

Pariah maybe I'm thinking of the same one. It's close to 140 and zips you straight back.

I had a busy weekend. As I mentioned, B was out of town - due back anytime now. Kids had stuff, football games and such, DD had Homecoming dance. DS went to his father's and DD went after the dance. Work was busy - XH and my PT worker moved 2 big tanks, one Saturday and one Sunday so I was in the store solo (just like during the week!).

My technician injured herself on Friday afternoon - she's off for a few days. I went in to do some work this morning then came home to do household chores... so much for a day "off"!

B and I are both looking forward to some "normal" after my weekend with Mom last weekend and his weekend with his Mom this past weekend.

I did a product review video for a 22 caliber conversion kit for AR-15's.

I had bought the device to save money shooting, but everyone asked for a review and how it worked, so I just did it hands on at a shooting meet Saturday.
