Just Learning,
Excellent advice! I agree, and will be sharing this with my H. Yes, you are right, there is just too durn much for words... we did have a WONDERFUL meeting yesterday regarding my son's school placement! They are sending a teacher to our home to teach him, and he will be assessed for mental health services and speech. All are needed!
Thank you for taking the time to respond so fully!
airheart and maya... all the BEST folks are outgoing, friendly, outspoken Sag's, don't ya know???
I wonder if there's ever been a research project about this kind of thing? Both my H and the OM are Leo's... which means, two fire signs looking for heat. Sag's are very, very friendly, I wonder if lot's cheat? Just a thought!
Hugs to all ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.

And to make myself DOUBLY special... I'm a left-handed Sagittarius! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif)
Well, I don't wanna get too much into the horoscope thing, but my wife is a Taurus, and it seems in most places I've read that Sag/Taurus is a bad match... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
Whereas, the OW is an Aquarius, which is a very good match for a Sag. Sheryl - One more try. This will (I hope) sound a little less crazy than my last response, as I'm posting from work. (The craziness doesn't usually start until I get home.) You are in a tough, painful situation having to work with the OM. I don't know how I'd handle something like that, being constantly reminded that way, but you seem to be doing about as well as anybody could. So I'll just add my "hang in there" to everyone else's. Also want to let you know how much I've appreciated your responses to threads I've started. Your words really have helped me cope many times, believe me and thank you.
And if it's any consolation, my marriage and W's affair are driving me slowly crazy too. I've been resisting it, but late nights it definitely seems to be getting the better of me. Regards, blessings and well wishes for an improvement in your situation,
--Wex
P.S. to Maya and Airheart - Well, my W has her moon in Saggitarius in the 5th house (romance) and she's a betrayer. I think Saggitarius is the connection there more than left-handedness!

Ah Wex,
Thanks... and hey, the craziness begins for the rest of us at home too...

Maya and airheart,
Last night was hell on earth, I look like crap today, and came to work in a very vulnerable state. I hate this whole thing with a passion! I told my H that he's gonna have to woo me back... I'm so far gone right now. I told him that I'm telling him all this so he can SAVE me, like he wouldn't before. I am not in a good place, cried myself to sleep around 11:30, H woke me at 2:30 needing attention and my head is aching today.
BTW, I don't think being a betrayer really does have anything to do with being a Sag, but since SAG'S **RULE**... omg, back to High School. ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.

Hi NB ... I know that feeling ... that "vulnerable state" you're talking about. I've been there more times than I want to remember.
It passes, but I'm well aware that it can crop up again at any time (but strangely it hits about one week b/4 ... well, you know ... the monthly joy of being a woman thing) (blech)
What is amazing to me is after I hit one of these pits where I think I'm just gonna LOSE it, don't wanna try anymore, etc. etc. and the rollercoaster take that uphill climb again I realize that I'm thinking a bit more clearly, the OM has faded a bit more, life looks a little better than it did last month.
It really and truly is a PROCESS ....
Do you need some time ALONE??? If so, take it. I felt smothered so much. Maybe you need to get out .... or suggest to H that he go see a movie or something and give you some time to be alone. That has helped me before.
And sometimes I just really really need to cry my eyes out. I feel like I'm "being strong" and holding it in sooo much, and what really needs to happen is just to LET IT OUT!
I hope I'm helping ... I do know how you're feeling!

Maya,
Yup, you're helping... thing is... just ended the dreaded girl thing and that really, really confuses me!
I honestly do want my H to save me. Last night, through the tears, he suddenly said to me "You mean, you'd rather have 10 minutes of peace with him than live like this with me? Is this what you mean?" I'm like - BINGO - yes, that's what I mean. He's having SUCH a hard time, and I just am at the end of my rope too. He loves me, but he's still so fragile himself, and I love him, and am the same. Of course, there is the ever-present OM lurking about in my life (only 5 fricken days a week - ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif) ) so things are really, really hard. I told my H to please, PLEASE win me back. Please quit making me do ALL the work here. I still haven't gotten any sleep. 4 hrs. last night. I feel like hell...
I bet you're sorry you asked... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif)
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.

HI NB,
I'm new to this BB and I want to tell you that it's YOUR repies I respect the most. I even went back and read some of your old ones. When I get a reply I hope it's from you. This is because I admire your courage for telling YOUR side of the story. So many H have a hard time understanding W under NORMAL situations. Your input (up or down)is priceless to us, believe me!!
Please hang in there and realise that ONE, we NEED you and TWO, your husband's wounds are DEEPER and FRESHER. He will test to see that you're REALLY back. Give him that.
Also, I'm not sure of your religiuos beliefs but the BAD (SATAN) is going NUTS trying to gain control again. YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO HOLD ON!! He/it will try and trick you AGAIN!!! Don't fall for it. And if you can't do it for yourself, remember us, we don't need a relapse.
I don't mean to lay TOO much on you just to gain strength from WHEREVER you feel comfortable with. I'm not sure if you see my new posts so here is my email address. I, for one NEED your input!! darrt@prodigy.net PLEASE keep in touch. You are a special person Cheryl don't loose ground on YOU!!!
------------------
desperate

Please Help,
Those are strong words that I'm not really sure I live up to, but thanks for them. Makes me feel much better.
I am a spiritual person, but I have fallen away from God over the last year or so. I think I told you about the minister of the church we attended coming on to me. Totally pissed off my H and blew me out of the water... very confusing and very disguisting. After that, it's been hard to find a church. But we're keeping our eyes opened. Also, prayer is hard with me feeling like such a loser. But I KNOW God has forgiven me, but it is a daily process, especially with the OM working here. It's terrible.
Again, thanks for your reply.
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.

Hey Sheryl, me again, ole lefty... ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
One suggestion I may make -- don't let on to your hubby anymore anything about the OM. You're through with him. You only see him when absolutely necessary for your job. You are getting over him and you love your husband again. That's all you need to talk about. I'm not talking about secrets or hiding anything. I'm just talking about sparing your husband from opening those wounds over and over again.
It's like me and my wife. For a few weeks there, her wounds kept getting opened, and she'd go through fresh pain again. If I got depressed, I'd tell her why of course, and she'd be hurt by it. So we have a sort of mutual agreement not to go anywhere near the subject of ACL or love through the years or whether I really love her or not or any of that stuff. It has to be by mutual agreement of course, but I think that you'll both benenfit by not bringing up those subjects and concentrating on just enjoying each other's company.
I know that you're vulnerable and feel like crap and don't get any sleep and it's virtually impossible not to show that you're depressed. I know that. But maybe you guys can just... I don't know... NOT talk about it. Talk about something else to get your mind off your bad feelings.
Also, I was thinking for a while that I was working so damn hard to get feelings back for my wife and I was getting really frustrated. So I decided finally not to think about it anymore. I just decided to go with the flow and see where it took me. I really can't give myself an ulcer on top of everything else. Sheesh! I already have high blood pressure!
take care, and have a good weekend (and I mean that. That's an order!)
--andy

andy -
agreed... all of it...
and I'm looking forward to the best ding-donged weekend I've had in a long, long time! ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)
Hugs (in the most platonic way - maybe an air hug ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif) )
------------------
~Sheryl
Marriage: the most important contract you'll ever enter into, and the most sacred.

Air-hug!! <LOL> that's a good one! I'm laughing picturing it in my head.
Glad to hear you're planning on having a good weekend, Sheryl. My wife and I are planning on going to a haunted house this weekend. And they're also having some kinda parent/child expo here in town too. So we should keep good and busy (I plan to sneak in a little rollerblading too!).
--andy
