Hi Lala,
How you doing today? I was much better until about half hour ago, and it was like a wave of saddness anf fear took over. Not overwhelming but it brought me down a little, so I thought I would check in with my friends. How W2S?

He is good...he said he almost got on my thread last night to tell me to "stop beating myself up because he is a million times better than he has been in a year and a half." He is so sweet!
Funny-I just got back on your thread a couple minutes ago (busy day) to see what was goin on. Good for you on the recorder. It may hurt to hear some of it, but better than wondering about it all the time. I think that is why she seems so much in the same mindset I was...straight from parents/college to DH, always relied on him for a lot, thought I needed to prove to myself I could make it on my own, knew I had made sooo many mistakes, and really felt I couldn't feel totally and romantically in love with him again. And my OM was long gone, ya know. It doesn't seem like she is spending any time with him right now...but I could be wrong, of course. I think your radar is so in tune to her every move, though, that you would feel it if she were spending a lot of time with him. I don't know...seems like where I was a couple months ago. She's still there, though...hang tight!
I feel better now that some house stuff is done, the resume is sent, and the boys are in bed. The YDS was a crazy loon today-he got up with his brother for school at 7:00 this morning, and so by about 5:00 this afternoon, he was in RARE form. Then my parents came over and hung out for a couple hours. It's nice to be close them again. Although they do get on my LAST nerve sometimes (obsess over the silliest things like chasing my kids around to put socks on b/c they'll get sick if they don't). Incidentally, my YDS said the other day right b4 they went over to spend the day with them, he goes "I don't want to see GP." I said "Why, honey, he loves you." He said "I DON'T WANNA WEAR SOCKS!!" My ODS went through a phase where he didn't want to be around them at all b/c they drove him batsh*t. I just laugh now...so does he. He tells them to "knock it off!" when they start on him (not in a mean way).
This reminds me...last night my oldest was doing his homework while I was putting the little one to bed. I came back down and he had gotten all the way through it, except there was a bonus question at the end that he could completely read the directions on how to do it. So instead, while he waited for me, he wrote this:
"I love mom and dad. I love mom. My mom is a faery speshl. I take good kaer of my mom wenevr dad is at werk."
That kid is an old soul...I know probably everyone feels that way, but for 7, he is the kindest, most considerate kid I've ever met. You should see him if I get upset (which I am trying with everything in me to put on a happy face, but noone can do it all the time, even if their life is realtively stress-free). He will come over and stroke my back and tell me, "it'll be OK, mom, it's really no big deal." Something else, that one!
AnyHOO, betcha didn't think you'd get a novel
I hope you can overcome your fear and doubt tonight...let it all go...

Hi Lala, you're little guys sound like a hoot. It's amazing some of the things they do sometimes. I've got an 8 year old that doesn;t like anything other than underwear, it drives her GM nuts. Anyhow, if you thought this was a novel, go to my thread. I've got a response for you..

That's too funny! Did he ever go through the "don't wanna wear underwear"? That was a specialty of my little one.

He is in the all-jammies-all-the-time mode...AND he wears his undies backwards, 'cuz "that's where the 'guys' are" ("the guys" are the superheroes on the butt of his undies). So then his cheeks hang out in the back 'cuz they don't fit right backwards. When he goes potty, he likes to run around flappin in the wind for a few minutes till I chase him down. Then he won't let me put them back on "LEMME DO IT, LEMME DO IT"
Good grief! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Hey-anyone have suggestions on a REALLY funny movie for the weekend? I haven't seen a good one since "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" and "50 First Dates." DH is always getting on me about watching movies with him. I would much rather surf with my "woobie" (that's what W2S calls my remote) or play Playstation. He kicks my butt in everything, though...except fighting games...then I RULE!!!!
