RIM I hope you start feeling better. You sure it's just a bad cold and nothing worse? Do you have a steam vaporizer? I use that when very congested with a bit of vicks in it, sure helps to sleep.

Bad hair day here yesterday but the rest of me was Goddess like. I'm going shopping this weekend if all goes well to get some Goddessy apparel and some heals to wear with slacks. It's a much better look than the ugly slip ons or tennis shoes don't you think? I still trying to locate a BE place in town. I want to try it before I buy.

Hi Storm! Don't let what your H did or didn't do or notice effect YOUR GODDESSNESS! Being a Goddess is what SL said, it's what you think and feel! So go forth and look great for YOU.

I hope everyone has a great Friday and to those under the weather I hope you feel better soon.

I'm back on the Goddess train today!! I slept in a bit this morning and just emailed the boss to tell her I'll be a little late coming in today... I need to goddess up, because I haven't done it for the past 2 days! (well, I left that second part out... I didn't think she'd be so receptive to that...).

Anyways, I am feeling much better. Still congested, but I don't "feel" sick anymore... the freezing coldness and the aches are gone. As is my headache. Yay!

mvg-- I don't have steam vaporizer, but I should go get one of those. My mom used to put one in my room when I was little and sick to help me sleep. I hadn't thought of that... thanks! Oh... and what is BE?

My H was being a jerk yesterday, but I am still going to goddess up tonight. Yay! Being a goddess is FUN.

OK-- going to get in the shower and start the goddess process now. Just wanted to check in and tell everyone to have a GREAT GODDESS WEEKEND and that I'm alive and well (well-er, than I was before, I suppose...;)).

Glad you hear you're recoverying from your ickies.
BE-Bare Escentuals mineral makeup.

I read your thread in regards to jerky turkey. You get all GODDESSY and make his eyes pop out, ok?!

Is this a Goddess holiday no one told me or RIM about??? Or everyone sleeping in?

Wow, I didn't realize how important this thread is to me and my daily attitude until this morning when I was being a DOMESTIC GODDESS.

I have come SO FAR. In a span of 20 minutes, my whole place was picked up and looking sharp.

My hair is ok... The color thing HAS TO HAPPEN this weekend.

Make up... not on yet, but my cheeks are looking rosey....

I'll get the lipstick and mascara on asap....

Outfit. Wearing casual jean shirt, and black turtleneck and leggings. Not my best effort, but my attitude is better.

I loved having my home cleaned up and knowing it WH drops by without me being there, it looks NICE..

Okay, this is my first post to this thread, but I just HAD to post and tell you guys how many laughs I got over what I am referring to as "The Boobie Monologues"! hahahahahaa!!! Those were hysterical, and I, like believer, also HATE what I call "butt cleavage"! Thanks ladies!

My opinion on SWEATS...See now I don't think sweats are bad IF you feel "Goddessy" in them, and if your husband digs the athletic look...There are some GREAT ones at Victoria's Secret that ARE sexy, imo...The ones from the "Pink" line...The "hoodies" are form fitting-look great with a tank under them and the pants ride low so if your body type allows for that, then I say go for it!

Oh and here is a link to the store Kitson...It's in Los Angeles and has lots of fun, frivolous "Goddessy" type stuff-Candles, Room Sprays, Bubble Bath, Sunglasses and other unique, whimsical items...Enjoy!

Ohh, Mrs, W, that is a great site!

I guess I'll chime in with a Goddess check in. I am dressed to go to my naughty dance class, in cute leggings, a velvet cami, and have a cute velvet top over the cami until I get to class (everyboddy "dresses" for this class and it is fun!) I have my makeup on and my hair is blown dry.

Anybody know if the mineral stuff is hypo-allergenic?

Bow-Chicka-Bow-Wow.....(the music plays as Chrysalis--or Misty, as we call her in 'class', wraps her leg around the poll, inverts herself and slides to the floor, landing in an arched position... )

AAAAAHHHHAHAHAHA.... ROTFLMAO.... SL...

Hey, if that's what it takes to be a goddess!!

I am a horrible dancer with no rhythm. My friends used to make fun of me in college when we went out dancing. Dancing makes me feel like a spaz, not like a goddess!

Yes, pole dancing. In the dark. Today we were an odd assortment of 4 beautiful dancers, 3 middle aged ladies, and 2 really pregnant women. And we had a fabulous time! I have for the first time in my life learned it is OK to feel beautiful .

Yay Chrysalis!!

OK-- I'm checking out for the evening ladies. Going home to fancy up the makeup, put on a sexy outfit, and go out on the town with the H. We are going to dinner and a comedy club.

Have a great evening... and weekend!

Today I got all dressed up & went to Hollywood & ordered new headshots. And I got checked out by 2 guys at the photo place. I got the "up & down" look and it made me feel good.

I have to get off my sick bed and take a shower so I can go get more drugs.....Maybe I won't die after all. Last night/this morning, that sounded like a good option.

Hey ladies

Just checkin' in. I've been a busy killer B, but sure has kept my mind off WH. I am really starting to have FUN again and this thread is one of the fun things I look forward to each day.

Now in terms of a goddess update--as I was telling Queenie last night, tomorrow is a FULL ON GODDESS DAY. Have yoga in the morning, then I'm getting my hair cut, then I'm getting manicure. And to cap off the night, I'm renting a French movie (La Vie en Rose--anyone seen it?). I think it's clean but you never know about those frenchies!!

I think I'm supposed to squeeze some homework in there too, but to quote my one of my favorite Goddesses -- Scarlett O'Hara -- I won't think about that now, I'll think about that tomorrow.

And no sweats either--or at least not after I've taken my doggies out for their morning walk. It'll be in the 20s tomorrow morning. Sorry Mimi...

Have a great weekend all.

Ok, I've always wanted to pole dance... even bought a dvd this summer and was looking at getting a removable pool for home. Not to be trashy, just to... oh I don't know, I just think it would be cool. WH at one point said something about what if your kids knew?

Sounds like fun to me!

I went to work today and attended the production meeting with my reading glasses, and my hair in a knot, and a black top buttoned all the way up.

Then after work, we had a going away party at the O club, where I put on my F-me pumps, unbuttoned the blouse all the way down, and let my hair down. I was quite demure as the guys were asking me to play pool. What they didn't know is that I grew up with a pool table. So I broke and ran 5 balls in a row. It was quite satisfying. Their eyes were popping out.

I left early because I don't drink and drive. But it was a very goddess-like hour and a half.

Everyone is so scared of the pole the first time they try it.

So we start 'em off REAL slow, just walkin' around it and showin' off how gorgeous they are!
