Hi there goddesses! I think that you are all awesome.

I have not posted here before and I don't know if I could live up to the goddess standard. But I can tell you what makes me feel beautiful and attractive: lingerie. It doesen't have to be "sexy" and I don't have to show it to anyone, it is enough for me to know that I am well dressed from the inside and out. Laces, bows, twin strap bras, some unusual colors... It boosts my confidence and makes me smile all day.

Take care of yourself, you deserve it.

Welcom why. I love lingerie too, but why I'm still wearing some of my old worn out stuff, I don't know. I'll have to work on that. Good lingerie is soooo expensive.

Not having a good Goddess day today. My face is going through a little break out session, and hair color is fading which allows a little of the gray to show through. I did the root touch up on the part, but it isn't the same as going to the salon. I need to do that soon.

So the pimply faced, faded haired Chaister is not worthy of the Goddess thread today. I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy.....

Chai - Get rid of that worn out faded stuff! You can get perfectly nice things at Walmart. I worked in the ER during college and learned firsthand why you should always be well dressed underneath it all! Holy moly, the nasty, dirty, smelly things that used to come through the ER door.......YIKES! Changed me for life.

Believer LOL....Now I know why my mom always said that we should never go out without clean underwear on. I bet that you did see some nasty stuff in the ER. Yuk. But I would sure hate to go to the ER with my VS undies on because they might cut them off! What a tragedy... I've seen those big scissors that they have clipped to their belts.

I'll just save a nice clean set from Walmart to wear to the ER

If they ever have to cut mine off, they are going to be fresh, clean and perky. And I will have showered in the last 8 hours, no matter what time of day or night it is. That place left lasting impressions with me.

Yuck! for the ER experience. My MIL has told me something along the same line. She used to work in a clothes shop in a small town in the 60s. The fashionable ladies would come there to buy clothes and have them tailored and MIL was helping them in the fitting room. She says that many of the ladies that dressed really fancy and were supposed to be upper class had terrible underwear, dirty and worn out and held together with safety pins, and that they smelled of sweat.

I have always had fresh and clean underwear but I used to prefer simple cotton because it is comfortable. But since I started caring more about my looks I have begun to appreciate pretty underwear. Not for anyone else to look at, just for my own self confidence.

Thanks Cinderella. I was having a non-worthy day. Kind of like a bad hair day (which it was that too) only worse.

lol I guess it's all part of the BS script huh?

Sooo, I have an appt on Friday at the salon for a cut, color retouch, brow wax, and brow tint. That should fix me up for the weekend.

And, you all convinced me to pitch all undergarments and go buy new. Now, I do have to stress that my "old" stuff is not really that old. And, it IS clean. So let's not get the idea that I would be one of those ER people that Believer talked about. Nothing is in shreds (yet).

Since I also get paid this Friday (once per month - hate that) I am going to the "upscale" grocery to treat myself to some designer food. I'm thinking some sea bass, beef filets, fresh fruit etc.

I'm headed for a Goddess weekend. Of course, a "solo" Goddess weekend, but hey, that's what we BS's in Plan B do right? I hate that....

....if anyone else in Plan B would like to get together for a not-so-solo Goddess weekend let me know. I need a break.

I think I need a new haircut myself! I've been trying to grow it out before I go get a new shape. Hopefully my friend can fit me in on friday for a cut too!

I have been doing weight watchers and lost 5 lbs in the first week. I have 21 to go, bleh. I am mostly losing weight for training reasons now. I am a rower and I want to be lighter so that I can make the boat I want in the spring. I'm a little too heavy for my power. I just hope I don't lose power as I lose weight. We'll see how week 2 goes. I get weighed in on Saturday.

Zora,

You mean that you haven't been on the famous infidelity diet? What's up with that?

I was on the famous infidelity diet! I lost about 15 lbs I think.

But then I started rowing and building muscle and I needed to eat to keep up with training. So I gained some back. All of my cloths still fits the same, except in the shoulders, grrrrr, so I think I put on alot of muscle weight from training over the last couple of months.

I am probably going to go through some muscle loss I'm sure, but I need to be lighter to stay competitive. A lot of the physics of rowing is how effective you are for your weight. Though I have highly competitive scores on my team, I get knocked off the top when they factor in weight.

I'm not overweight at all, I just need to get to the lower end of my weight range.

How long does the infidelity diet count? Meaning, if I am still losing weight from D-day does it all count to that, or I stop getting mileage out of it.

I think you're still getting milage out of it if you're still losing! Anger and depression are very powerful weight loss tools. I should have stayed depressed a while longer I think. Oh well.

Ok, then I am claiming 85 3/4 lbs from the infidelity diet.

And I feel good about it. WH hasn't ONCE commented about it. His loss, well actually MINE. LOL
