I am no lawyer but if your husband dies first all the assets are left to you as his wife. Then you can pass down to your heirs, the other children then get nothing. But if reverse they all would inherit after he dies. In that situation could he just have a will?? As far as now yes the two kids can sue probably for child support not paid but if the state/country paid the mother support then I think only the state would be the one reimbursed not the father? Just thinking out loud!

Well tomorrow is the court date, so I will find out what they are asking for. This is so painful. Terrible thing to say, but some days I wish he would drop dead. He is working on the financial part, but even that is very complicated.
I hate my life. Fevrier, I am sorry you are going through this. How did your court date go? Is there ANY way you can shift money/assets to you or your children now? I would recommend seeing a lawyer to see what options you have. Take care.
