Well, it's been a few months and lots and lots has happend, so how about an update

The girl I was talking to last time never worked out. I sent her flowers for her B-day in early Oct and that seemed to spark a little something for all of a couple days. She was a very nice and pretty girl, but man, we just didn't have anything to talk about. We started off ok, but it seemed like once we got through our backstories and other pleasantries there just wasn't any thing there.

So, late in Oct I meet another girl on a Catholic website. We hit it off like I never thought possible. We spent the last month laughin and cuttin up and carrying on like people only dream of. She's the prettiest little thing I've ever seen and we've got everything in common and she's 30 with a DS7 and a DD3 and there isn't anything else you could ask for between us. BUT, why does there always have to be a huge BUT, she's recently widowed, it's only been a little over a year. Once our relationship started getting real, she started having emotions stir up concerning him. Mon - Sat = GREAT. Sun = DEPRESSED. SO, we try to slow down a bit, not working, she goes to her counselor, and like we figured, Beau has to go, for now. So we're no longer dating, we're gonna keep in touch, but the dating has to stop. She's just not ready for that yet. I knew what the odds were when I met her, I know they're even worse now. That was unknowingly reiterated on Bugs thread today(that's what got me thinkin about an update)

and for the record, we didn't go overboard or do anything stupid, we only saw each other 3 times in that month and the kids are completely in the dark. We did talk everyday for about an hour and a half after the kids went to bed. We really hadn't gotten all that far, it's just we were having so much fun.

So this sucks, it hurts, and it's sad, but I have to tell you. I just got through having one amazing month and I'm still standing here with a smile on my face.

So I spent the Thanksgiving holidays coping in total Beau fashion. I didn't have DS4 so I got to go all out. I'll provide details if requested. LOL

In other news and this is BIG news as well. EXWW's OM2 is buying her a house, 40 mins away, which means she won't be able to bring him to daycare during the week, which means.....drum roll....I GET HIM ALL WEEK!!! WOOHOOO!! She's gonna still have him every other weekend and SUPPOSEDLY once a week she'll drive to town and take him out to eat or something. We'll see how long that lasts. I really don't care other than the first Tues of the month, which is my wing night, LOL

I guess that's enough for now. There's more, but it's smaller stuff, all good news, and it can wait.

So what ya'll think?

Hey BC. It was great to talk to you this weekend. I saw our favorite TV reporter covering the snow storm we had Sunday night in the hills. 30" in some areas.

You sound good as always. DD20.961 sends her love.

Well send my love right back. My brother brought up the trip again this weekend, it's looking pretty good.

I need to call our favorite reporter. I haven't talked to her in a while. I heard she bought a house, I think somewhere in North Denver too. I guess that means your date doesn't have to go down to the lobby to use the bathroom any more. LOL!

and I'm sure I can post most of the details on here whistle

Hey hopefulone! I remember you from back when. I guess you hung on for a while longer. I guess things must not have changed. Sorry about the D. Mine is long finalized now and I'm movin along just fine. Just enjoying all the joy and misery the dating world has to offer, LOL!

Thanks for checkin in

Hey BC.. sorry to hear about the trials and tribulations of the dating world, but don't get discouraged.. give it time, and remember what a wonderful prize you and an ice chest full of Bud Light really are.

Keep your head up bro.

There's no barrel my friend. When you're ready to date, options will appear.

I didn't say your next wife, I said options. Options are everywhere. I promise.

I remember Bugs commenting about nobody seeming to be interested, but the day she opened herself up to it, 3 or 4 guys showed up at about the same time.

That's how it happens too.

I shut down dating for a long time. I went on 1 casual date in Aug and WHAM! I've met several women since then, and dated 2.

It'll start off slow, but before you know it you'll understand what I'm saying.

You, SD, and SL haven't put it out there. The rest of us have and the rest of us are dating.

Try not to worry about it

When you put it that way.. It sounds like a wonderful way to get 'it' lopped off.

I was talking about it, not 'it'

for that, I recommend Cinemax stickout

keep 'it' picked up until an option turns into HER wink

Hey guys! Beau, are you misbehaving as usual? LOL...

I saw that you were in town this weekend, wished I would have gotten the opportunity to visit with you! was worling on my own stuff and visiting with Family...had to tow my old car back to town and help my dad load up my brother's POS that he didn't put oil in! WOW! huh? LMAO

I hear you on the dating front...comes in spurs...a few prospects here and there and then a gap...I've been too busy running this school to even think about dating right now...I'll be happy when the new Director steps in and that's coming soon!

I'm in gulfport right now for a Director's conference! Won't be back until Thursday and I have to speak at graduation that night.

I'll really missing the boys and will not get to see them a whole lot this week due to work. THey're staying with Stacy while I'm gone and I'll get to see them Friday mornign before school. Then off to their dad's they go for the weekend!

LOL, who knows I could end up transferring to the college down from you, then I could watch DD for you on wing nite! LOL...

I was just thinking tonight that dreams do come true, just one at a time...I keep dreaming for that special someone to come along but I'm not in a hurry...first things first, you know?

Take care, and I'll check in soon...need to do an update myself!

He's a mechanic and a Ford lover. He accepts Chevy/GMC, laughs at Toyota/Nissan, but it's not safe to say the word DODGE in front of him.

I'm now assuming your Foxy truck is a Dodge?

OLD Dodges have a bad rep around here and NEW Fords have the same.

Yup, guilty as charged. Big black 3/4 ton cummins diesel quad cab.

It eats little black Jeeps with stupid smiley face spot lights for dinner.

The really GOOD ones used 2 be called "Dodge Brothers" and had this beautiful radiator emblem with a globe and star of David (which most people think indicates that the John and Horace were Jewish, but they just liked it!): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:DSCN6089.JPG

But my Dad's 1966 Sportsman van was one of the best vehicles my family ever owned, after the '53 Hudson, that is!
