No, the comments about Bubba (Clinton) was asking you if you thought he was the 1 and 2nd best president?!? Which you did not answer.....just like a true liberal. faint

I'm voting McCain/Palin because I'm tired of supporting all those people on welfare, because I DO NOT believe in socialized Medicine, because I think we ALL (regardless of income) should be taxed at the same rate, because I believe that our MILITARY should be supported and funded, because I do not believe in abortion, because I believe that CHANGE does not start with a Jr Senator with little experience, because I do not believe that CHANGE starts with a man that doesn't even admit to his Heritage (he's bi-racial not black)..... these among other things.....

In other words.....I don't support 95% of what Obama stands for nor will I ever

It's funny that you apparently don't know that your main man McCain is still married to the affair partner he dumped his 1st wife for.

The first wife had apparently become less attractive, being crippled in a car crash and all...

In other words, you don't believe in helping the poor, you think the current healthcare system is fine, you are concerned about the rich paying higher taxes than the poor, you think Democrats are anti-military rather than anti-war, you think that this will be the time....FINALLY...when the Republicans will FINALLY come through on their perpetual promise to end abortion, and that it's wrong that Obama isn't as black as he says he is, even though he makes it clear that his mother was white.

I'm glad you're basing your vote on rock-solid beliefs.

I don't know who you're talking to ... I didn't enter this thread until after you started with your PRETZEL LOGIC ... and then only to point out your hypocrisy.

Sorry to have bothered you ... you may now return to your own delusions.

Marsh, this is not directed to you even though I replied to your post.

To Whom It May Concern:

I am personally offended by all the mockery about Palin’s (and my own) faith. I was raised in an Assembly of God church as a pastor’s daughter. The media (and others) have taken something holy and good and tried to turn it into something ugly. What that visiting pastor was doing is called “spiritual warfare.” When he prayed against all forms of witchcraft that might come against Ms. Palin he was praying a righteous prayer for her protection, and after reading all the hate on this thread, it’s apparent she needs all the prayer she can get.

There is evil in the world, and it’s not getting better. When he prayed against all forms of witchcraft it could include attacks by spirits of hate, fear, bondage, murder, blindness, mockery, gossip, lies, etc. etc. etc. There are people (or should I say spirits) who are out to seek, kill and destroy any good or any person who has the gumption to stand for their beliefs. Look how they mocked Jesus as they attacked and killed him... and in their ignorance, they didn't even realize that he was doing it for them.

My husband prays daily for a hedge of protection around our family and “comes against” anything evil that seeks to destroy. I am THANKFUL that he does this as the head of our household.

This is very real folks. Laugh, deny or ignore all you want. It hurts my heart for those who are lost but all I can do is pray for them.

Even though I don’t respect McCain personally (because of his past adultery), he most definitely outshone Obama in the presidential debate. I have a feeling Palin is going to mop the floor with Biden.

That’s all.

The TRUTH is that NO ONE is promised tomorrow.

Thanks for the News Flash, I didn't realize this sigh.

back to the 72 year old issue you raised....are you aware that things that used to kill us no longer are as likely to kill us because our health care system is so good?

And your point is? Oh, wait, I know - you mean we shouldn't worry, 'cause McCain does not need to worry about dying, 'cause he has the Congressional health care, unlike the rest of us dimwits? Is that it?

Well, I still consider McCain to have a good chance of not making it through 4 years, so yeah, for me, Palin does come into the calculus.

The media. Folks on this thread. By mocking the words of a prayer. By mocking a man of God visiting the church she attends.

Creepy? Disturbing? Not to me... at all, or to others who understand spiritual warfare. I understand exactly what he was praying. Nothing "creepy" about it.

I know most people here on MB are good decent people, but why make fun of something you don't understand? That takes me back to elementary school.

For those of you who doubt, when you lay your head on your pillow tonight, ask God to reveal this to you. I dare ya. smile

"Creepy" can mean many things to many people.

At a Catholic funeral, I think the ringing bell and the incense-thingy are creepy.

Actually, the fact that otherwise normal people don't see the insanity of it is the creepy part.

Yep. And so are some of the priests.

Yes, very true. And it is also scary. Very, very scary!

Well, let's at least let the good Governor defend herself with her own knowledge of the issues:

Katie Couric: Why isn't it better, Gov. Palin, to spend $700 billion helping middle-class families who are struggling with health care, housing, gas and groceries; allow them to spend more and put more money into the economy instead of helping these big financial institutions that played a role in creating this mess?

Gov. Sarah Palin: That's why I say I, like every American I'm speaking with, we're ill about this position that we have been put in where it is the taxpayers looking to bail out. But ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health-care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy, helping the -- it's got to be all about job creation, too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track. So health-care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans. And trade, we've got to see trade as opportunity, not as a competitive, scary thing. But one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today, we've got to look at that as more opportunity. All those things under the umbrella of job creation. This bailout is a part of that.

Actually the idea that McCain is likely to die in office has been debunked.

"John McCain is 72 years old, and the Social Security actuarial tables say a man his age has an average life expectancy of 12 years. The possibility that, if elected, she would become president any time soon has been exaggerated."
