Had you said that the first night, I could have accepted that and started immediatly. I could be back searching for a couple of humpbacks named george and gracie by now!!!

And No, I am not crazy, these are some dorky star trek references... Not sure if any of you are getting my humor. You need to be a real dork to get most of it.

Thanks Neak, I mean that.

I prefer nerd.

REAL nerds not only quote Star Trek, but also HHGTTG (Hitchikers Guide).

I'm so hip I have trouble seeing over my pelvis.

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

I didn't get it till you mentioned George and Gracie.

Sorry, I'm an English NERD (thank you Kimmy, lol), not a Star Trek NERD.

Dork, Nerd, whatever.... Same song different dance.

I never saw hitchiker... I've always been more of Star Trek, Star Wars...

At one point not so long ago, Zora bought me the trival pursuit Star Wars edition.

It was not even fair.

I have to admit, reading surviving an affair is really somthing.

I swear he followed me around and recorded my actions, feelings, etc... Right down to the depressions, feelings of worthlessness, etc..

Are they all really that similar? I know two cases now where it hit the head on the nail. I guess we are blind and see what we want to. It seems so foolish when you are at the end of the road looking back.

Bad choice of words, its not the end of the road. Its the end of One road but the start of another.

Silver

Real quick update...

I have officially resigned. As of Nov 1st, I am no longer employed. Nov 1st allows me to keep my insurance through the month. I am not expected to be in the office at all, I will go once off hours to collect my things. I will be working from home and driving all over creation for the next three weeks.

I sent Zora an email stating that she needs to switch her insurance over to her company by dec 1st for no loss of coverage.

I am nervous that I dont have a new job but I have a plan should nothing materalize in short order.

Had another session with my pastor, those are helping, expecially in the parts of my life not concerning my marriage.

Parents are here now, gave them the quick tour of the town, etc...

I am doing ok I guess, trying to keep myself busy and stay with friends as much as possible, there is still much pain. I dont think thats a bad thing though, as long as its not blinding.

Still reading, still learning, still praying.

Silverwind.

thank you all

I dont mind roads, I like driving. Sometimes I take the long way, the path less traveled but I always find my way to my destination eventually...

So I have a inteerview lined up for Next Wednesday in Boston, I had two phone interviews already that I though went very well...

Parents are out shopping to buy me groceries now as my fridge consisted on coffee creamer, crystal light and nothing else. The freezer had coffee and ice.

Apparantly they dont think thats a healthy diet, can you believe that? Parents....

But they are being supportive, brought me a book to read, they did surprise me a little though... Ill write a post on that later I guess, just not what I expected..

Silver

Did you know that coffee creamer is flammable?

Mythbusters had a show last week where they duplicated extreme videos from youtube, and one was a pipe bomb. They did it the way the video showed, and then they did it with a ton of coffee creamer, and the explosion/fireball was even bigger than with the sawdust.

Is it normal to be so confused? Of what you want? Where one day its so clear and the next be so unsure?

Where one day you are so sure of the right path, and the next day question everything you are doing?

I guess I just unsure bcause of quitting job today. I dont regret doing it, but for the first time since I graduated college, I suppose before graduating, I dont have a steady job lined up. I've never been in a situation where I did not hae a steady paycheck I knew was comming.

I dont know, I guess I am just worried.

well, I cant deny its a very depressing situation for many reasons mostly my fault. I have been trying hard lately, since I stopped being bananas and desperate, to not get too down, to try and do positive things for myself. Its been working for the most part, of course I get down who wouldn't? Spend time with friends and family, make my house a nice place to be. I Guess I should not have posted anything, im sure its just the quitting today, its got me worried. I know I can survive for a while even if I dont find a job, but ive never been in a sitation like this where I was so uncertain.

I guess up to recently, my life has been pretty according to the norm... Graduate high school, go to college, meet a wonderful girl, marry her, buy a house... Then things got off track for many reasons, and here I am seperated, living in a house of my own where my wife bought me out of our home. I had a long affair, wife is having / had an affair now with a friend of ours, etc... Its just so messed up. You never think it will end up like this. You look back and say how did it come to this.

I joined facebook and am getting in tough with long lost friends and people I knew in the past. They all have pictures of kids, families, and I have an empty house. Its very sad. I don't even want to accept friend invites for fear of the questions about family, kids, marriage etc...

Im sure ill be ok tomorrow, I am just trying to be honest with myself and trying to perhaps get help with all this. I know alot of people here have been through similar emotions, situations, etc...

Unlike 10 days ago I know I will be ok. Not today, not tomorrow, but I will be. I have the most suportive family anyone could ever ask for, and I use them not like the previous 31 years of my life.

Sorry for babbling.

Still praying,
Silverwind

I dont want to get into that question, I know how it came to this and I am to blame. I accept that and can move forward.

Even if you wind up going through a financial calamity, and whether or not you succeed in salvaging your M, you will someday look back on this with confidence that you did the right thing.

Silverwind - You are doing the right thing, and doing the right thing is what will make your life good. Keep sending out resumes. I wish I had your credentials.

I'm giving you lots of points because you are taking ACTION instead of just talking. Continue working on yourself and things will turn out just fine.
