I think a forum is a bringing together of advice to see what works best for the individual taking the advice. What happened to Mimi was unacceptable and was not advice. A forum is also a bringing together to discuss opinions. This particular thread was under "Other Topics" -- not necessarily related to MB. It wasn't about giving advice, it was people expressing their opinions. Some of those opinions I personally found very offensive as well but I've got thick skin. Mimi took those posts to heart and got hurt.

Some of those opinions I personally found very offensive Me too. Being offended doesn't justify seemingly racists remarks. It might explain it and be a part of your apology, but it doesn't justify it. Strange to see so many rationalizations and justifications for poor insensitive behavior coming from a man of such self-proclaimed character. You'd NEVER commit adultery...right, but when you've obviously offended a well respected minority poster herein based upon race when u yourself claim not to be a racist...Wow...is all I can say. All sin is just a series of little choices adding up to huge mistake and misteps. It's in our genetic code. Your brain is protecting itself from recognizing it's mistakes. Pride is a difficult burden. Humble yourself and show your TRUE character. Mr. Wondering
