Well, shoot--now everybody knows I tried to surreptitiously edit my post to refine the humor. Although perhaps "refine" isn't precisely the word I should be using to describe it.blush

P.S. I'm betting you can take care of yourself. One Aussie, one Texan. Have you ever read the poem "The Gingham Dog and the Calico Cat"?

GH13,

What the heck is a gait . I can picture the heighth, and the big nose grin but not the gait.

I never knew we had so many people from the other side of the world. Wow, it's cool!

Hush up, Mel. :crosseyedcrazy:

The way you walk. Ex: lumbering, bow-legged, pigeon toed, etc. In the US, we usually use gait when referring to horses or dogs.

Ahh PK, got it.

The walk.

John Wayne comes to mind. Or this guy down the hall that kind of bounces on his tip toes as he walks. The bounce. LOL

Hush up, Mel

That would be "hesh up now, Mel." The U sounds like a short e and you cain't fergit the "now" bit.

Contrary to what MEL believes - all Texan women DO NOT have big hair...long, maybe, but not all have BIG ol' updos.

I've not used hairspray in WEEKS...it's way too windy fer that right now.

I never had to take the Kobayashi Maru test until now. What do you think of my solution?

O'hana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten.

yes, I am AWARE of certain Texas women who shame their mommas by going around looking like yankee gals. TEEF As my late grandmother used to say: "my Lord, that gal looks like she just plowed the back 40!" crazy

We had someone up here shoot a white wolf by the side of the road while traveling with a few of his fellow railroad workers. The railworkers apparently begged him not to do it, but he did it anyway. Just for sport. The wolf ran off wounded and one of the workers he was with called the DNR and reported it.

My word for someone like that is "sicko". Fines and prison.

Mel,

Apparently you have never seen my hair. Hair spray has never touched it. Just a touch of organic coconut oil to prevent friz and split ends. (yankee trick - this is 2008, yanno)

PS, I think the back 40 beckons you, so scoot along now, hon. rotflmao
